I JUST RECENTLY STARTED TO FEEL THAT THINGS ARE ACTUALLY GOING RIGHT FOR ME BUT I'M CONFUSED BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO BECOME PRIDE OR ARROGANT. I'VE THOUGHT ALOT ABOUT THE THINGS TO COME AND THIS IS WHAT I'VE GATHERED. i REALLY SHOULD JUST ENJOY WHAT DOES COME AND IF THERE'S ANY POMPUSNESS IN MY HEART THEN I WILL SEE DISCIPLINE FROM THE LORD. LEAVE A COMMENT AND LET ME KNOW WHAT TO DO.

In the fall of 2007, I was looking at the pitch for eventual elimination of social security and the pitch for self-managed retirement accounts. I began saying why, what, where, when, and who...it is an issue of follow the money to those in control. I came up with the following. I just added the bold headers today. What does a global economy mean to the average American? What does a global economy mean for the things you hold most dear? Many wonder if there will be an economy to support a comfortable life style in the United States. Is the American dream to own a home and provide an enjoyable environment for your family moving further out of reach? THE SELL Q-What is t…

Hello all, We were just wondering if any of you could or knew anyone that could offer some help (i.e. salvation, boarding, churches etc.) for my brother in law; he just recently paroled from jail in october, but has had a hard time finding an affordable place to stay, a good church, and in general, godly people. He really is trying to turn his life around, and it's hard to help him from here in TN. So, do any of you know how to help him in anyway? Again, he's not able to leave the San Fernando Valley area of California. Thanks for your prayers and anticipated help, Brian.

AMEN to this. This is outstanding.. ----- Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded by civilization that complains about the noise from the base and its planes, forgetting that it was there long before they were. A certain lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives somewhere near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s that disturbed his/her day at the mall. When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB officer, it must Have stung quite a bit. The complaint: 'Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base: Whom do we thank for the morning air show? [Book] Bad Leadership by Barbara Kellerman

In her book Barbara Kellerman presents the argument that leadership and followership are directly connected. She explains that bad leadership is the result in most cases of bad followership. She explains bad leadership by dividing it into seven types: incompetent, rigid, intemperate, callous, corrupt, insular, and evil. Bad leadership by Barbara Kellerman is the first book I read about the other side of leadership, a topic that should be discuss more often since bad leadership is leadership also. It helps leaders to understand what bad behavior looks like and how to avoid it completely. It brings a completely different approach since it introduces the followers as a possi…

Got this in my email. It's something.... When in England, at a fairly large conference, Condi Rice was asked by the Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were just an example of empire building' by George Bush. She answered by saying, 'Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return.' You could have heard a pin drop. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers were taking part, including French and …

I'm in a relationship with a acceptingly beautiful girl but there's bagage. It seems she does think it's okay to be rude to me. She's always yelling at me and being just plain rude. We don't have fun like we use to and now she's even attempted to break up with me because I missed her call. It's kind of like she's trying to scare me into dating her. I'm not a tough guy so it's a bit of a toughy for me. II'm trying hard to love her but it's like she's always saying rude stuff to me. I keep telling myself man up and tell her the truth but that part of me is also alittle timid about doing that. What should I do?

Johnson, Jr. / Dawson Times: Sir Winston Churchill called General Robert E. Lee `one of the noblest Americans who ever lived.' Please let me call to your attention that Monday, January 19, 2009, is the 202nd birthday of Robert E. Lee, whose memory is still dear in the hearts of many Southerners. Why is this man so honored in the South and respected in the North? Lee was even respected by the soldiers of Union blue who fought against him during the War Between the States. What is your community doing to commemo…

MORE BLACK THAN CHRISTIAN By Coach Dave Daubenmire January 22, 2009 NewsWithViews.com ?Jesus loves the little children, all the children in the womb. Red and yellow, black and white, even though their out of sight, Jesus loves the little children in the womb.? That is the jingle I sang as I stood on the street in Washington this week. A group of us made the journey to the Capitol to raise awareness of the black holocaust that is taking place in America. We felt it was especially relevant since America had recently elected her first black President. We were convinced that most black-Christians were unaware of President Obama?s radical position on abortion. Th…

For those girls who don't get the emails, they are having super duper sales right now at Bath and Body works, ending Sunday. I picked up some deals two weeks ago, but my friend was just there and said the sales are even better. They are remaking/updating the labels to all their scents, so are clearancing all the old label scents including the expensive perfume bottles as well. Most of the stuff is 75% off. Just a heads up! I think I'm going to check it out again this weekend, maybe pick up a few things to keep on hand as prizes for games at baby showers, the mother daughter luncheon, etc.

The lost are watching you. This post is not to condemn but, edify. There may be some I use loosely so please point it out to me. Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. World's definition of good grief: An exclamation expressing surprise, alarm, dismay, or some other, usually negative emotion. For example, Good grief! You're not going to start all over again, or Good grief! He's dropped the cake. The term is a euphemism for "good God." What is vain usage of God's name?

POLITICS OR THE GOSPEL "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence" (John 18:36). The fact that Christ's Kingdom Is not of this world is enough to keep me out of the world's politics. If I participate in politics, then I am casting a vote of confidence in the system's ability to solve the world's problems. But frankly, I have no such confidence because I know that "the whole world lieth in wickedness" (1 John 5:19). Politics has proved singularly ineffective in solving the problems of society. Political remedies are n…

Fox News has a new host druing their 5:00 PM program, Glen Beck. I knew nothing of him so I looked him up on the net and read a couple of articels on him, them checked out Wikipedia to see what it had to say and I came across this, which might be good in one respect for it seems he was raised Roman Catholic. <<"Glenn Beck considers himself a "self-educated" man. He claims that he "spent more time in the parking lot than in class." As he began to recover from alcoholism, he decided he would throw everything he knew out (God, accumulated knowledge, etc.) and start from scratch. He began reading by having a book in every room. He read things that would contradict ea…

President-Elect Barack Obama to Inaugurate UnGodly Agenda Repent America warns of incoming 'changes' 01/16/09 PHILADELPHIA ? On January 20th, the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama and Vice President-elect Joseph Biden will usher in a new political system of sentiments and policies that drift increasingly further from the Biblical beliefs and principles adhered to by our nation's Founding Fathers and away from God. As a prelude of what is to come, the planned inaugural festivities, which begin on Sunday, will demonstrate the intended course of action of the incoming administration. Guised under the term of "diversity," on a number of occasions the Obama-Bi…

Unmanned Vehicles Mimic Insects http://www.military.com/features/0,1524 ... irforce.nl That fly, spider, grasshopper resting on the window screen, or setting on the glass patio door, or hanging on the ceiling, might just be Uncle Sam spying on you and you can spray insect spray all day long and it will still be there. Plus when you smash it with something the result will not look like a normal fly, spider, or grasshopper. Now, don't say that Jerry has not warned you if you find out you've been spied on by insects? :uuhm:

You're Confederate ... But Don't Know It? by Charley Reese Most of the political problems in this country won't be settled until more folks realize the South was right. I know that goes against the P.C. edicts, but the fact is that on the subject of the constitutional republic, the Confederate leaders were right and the Northern Republicans were wrong. Many people today even argue the Confederate positions without realizing it. For example, if you argue for strict construction of the Constitution, you are arguing the Confederate position; when you oppose pork-barrel spending, you are arguing the Confederate position; and when you oppose prote…

Christians without Borders -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By David Alan Black -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Covenant News ~ January 11, 2009 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The relationship between church and state continues to be a subject of great interest and importance to me, particularly the dangers of statism and its inevitable by-product, nation-worship. For example, I think the flying of the American flag in our churches is a bad idea. In my opinion, it sends all the wrong messages. For one thing, it co…

Heard from others regarding socialized medicine and how the Church should be the ones stepping in and not the government. I really do believe this would be how the LORD would have us to take care of matters. Yet how will this happen when most of the LORD"S people don't even tithe? We need obedient servants. Obedience produces fruit ie.love in action.I have a pastor that preaches the LORD's word unabashed, never sugar coats and is unwwavering. He is a trustworthy man of God. I am proud to be in this small local church because of him. Yet the only people to drive me to appointments or offer help is his family. Until people can give people rides to life sustaining medical a…
