I did not like how they made it seem like all IFB churches are abusive, mine most defiantly is not.

I heard on the news, that next Friday's royal wedding is going to get wall to wall coverage in the US. For ourselves, we are thouroughly fed up with hearing about it, already, and hope to leave the country for the day, however the ferry's website is overwhelmed at present, so I suppose everryone else wants to escape.

I was reading what A. T. Robertson's had to say about a New Testament verse in my SwordSeacher. Afterwards I did a search to see what I could find out about him. This is a portion. I turned the radio on today after church to listen to as I changed my clothes. The preacher was using the NIV but twice during the short time I listened to his sermon he paused to point out the NIV poorly translated a particlar verse. In both cases, this pastor actually corrected the NIV by saying the KJB had the better translation, then read the verse from the KJB and stated why that was better than what the NIV said! Why bother preaching from the NIV if you disagree with the way it was translated and find it necessary to have to correct it using the KJB twice within a short space of time in your sermon?

Since there have been a few people that have thought I was suggesting that I believed in the whole 2012 thing I have edited it a bit. Hopefully it is more clear. I see, at least among the secular society, a double standard. It seems to be ok for a woman to frequent the mall with her top nearly exposed, but let a young man wear his britches too low, (so that his underwear show) and watch out, the place is all up in arms. With summer coming on, we will see a lot of exposure. I am sure, but why is one ok, and not the other? I hope this is not the Christian's attitude too!

Just about done with the "Laramie" series. If you like the old westerns, I would recommend this one. Season 4 (the last season) is of poorer quality than the others, ut all the rest are good, family entertainment. There is, however lots of fighting and shooting, but no unwholesome materiel in them. Also finished seasons 1-3 of "The Virginian", and that was good too. Makes good watching on those rainy days.

This question is for anybody who is familiar with creating documents that need hyperlinks. I have been tasked to create a newsletter for the library. On this newsletter, the director wants to have links to the library website and different sections of the website, as well as facebook links. Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh? -

Excellent it’s over, I noticed that many pastors were disturbed, with the elections this year, more than ever before, and they were preaching to reinforcing being a conservative, it was a priority for many preachers, but now that is all over, preaching the gospel for salvation should take its place.
