There's only a few weeks left until my brother and I get baptized and it seems that the world has turned against us, nothing unexpected, but it's harder right now for me. I don't know about my brother, but it seems that way for him as well. May 22 will be the day when they "test" us (about 26 or so people are going to be asking questions), May 25th is when we're going to be up in front of all the Church members answering questions (we have a few thousand members), and June 3 is the day we get baptized. Please pray for us as we go through this time. Thanks.

I have a decision to make concerning a new job at work. Of course I am praying God will guide me with my decision; I would appreciate your prayers as well. The new job has many pluses and as well as some minuses. I will have a meeting with the boss in the next couple days to discuss the position and I expect to be offered the job. I am still unsure of my answer. The job is a supervisor position I have been wanting for a while, but it is on night shift which I hate. The pay is not a substantial increase ($0.38 an hour), but the job is less physically demanding than my current job. The job is in a different plant so I will have to learn the new systems but many of my cowork…

I have been having a really hard time with a man and his wife at church and I am on their bus route and he preaches at the nursing home I vist at. They were well lets just say that if you needed to find me you called them if you had to find them you found me. It hurt me really bad what is going on I am going to have to change busses and nursing homes because of it My pastor keeps telling that I am the one doing right and not to worry about it but it still hurts really bad. It is just ughh

I want to make a correction on my prayer request titled Who next? I put an article from our paper about Jack Clark. Well the paper said he wasnt wearing his seat belt and that he went to sleep..well that isnt true. LeAnn (Kaylynns sister)said that he was wearing his belt, that the belt was either bad or malfuntioned. LeAnn also said that he was so cut up that his family couldnt look at him. Please pray for our neighbors. Our neighbor Mr. Fisher passed away and the funeral is tomorrow. He was 82 years old. Then we heard the one of our friends husband was killed in a car accident. Here is the artical about him. A veteran Asheville firefighter described as unselfish and unusually dedicated was killed Thursday in a single-vehicle accident near Winnemucca, Nev. I just got back from the ER...Apparently(none of this I remember) I fell last night at work..slipped in a puddle of water. And I hit my head, when I got home I was talking to my friend on IM and told her I was dizzy...and then she said there was jibberish like my head was on the keyboard. Then I did what I thought was waking up...and I didn't remember anything she and I were talking about before..(or even that we were) And I can't remember anything between the dates of Fri(14)-Wednesday(19)...I suffered a minor concussion. So if anything important happened here on those days let me know ok? I will try to read the forums to catch up....

Hi, all. I requested prayer for a little girl we have in our orphanage named Angela last week. Well, she went to the cardiologist today and the news is not good at all. The meds she has been on not only have not been working, but the holes in her heart have enlarged. Thus, she will be facing open heart surgery in one month. Without this surgery, she will not live to see her first birthday. We have one month to get as much weight on her as possible (she has finally made 10 pounds now at 7 months!!) plus to come up with $10,000.00 US to pay for the surgery--here you pay up front before they will do anything. I just wanted to let everyone know and at the same time ask for extra prayer. As most of you know I have been having difficulty with a hormone imbalance. Lately I have had a set back and have been experiencing many if not all of the symptoms that I had previously been going through. This is a very difficult time for me and I would appreciate any and all prayers. :( I know all things are in our LORD's perfect time if it is HIS will and I hope to be well enough soon, to come back and fellowship with all of you. Please pray for me and Gram Grandma fell down the steps about a week ago and can barely walk, but she won't go to the docter Then also please pray for me. My youth pastor had to bring me home early today b/c I am sick. We don't know if it is the stomach virus that is going around or today in class we had a jelly bean eating contest where we had to pick a jelly bean eat it and tell what flavour it was. I got vomit. They had grass, soap, earthworm, bacon, soap, and a bunch of others :barfy: :barfy:

Please pray for me. I was cleaning the house and cut my foot on the vent. I cant get it to stop bleeding. My husband came home from work and took care of it but its bleeding again. It doesnt require stitches. Thank the Lord for that. Anyway I dont know if I can go back to work tomorrow.

Please pray for a little 5yo boy here in Guatemala named Christopher Fernando. We are trying to get custody of this little boy from his grandparents, but there are multiple complications. The most major of these complications is that grandma doesn't know the boy's last name (as mom is a prostitute and the child does not have dad's last name) nor does grandma know his birthday. We have searched all the records looking for his name or his mother's name so we can get a birth certificate. Without a birth certificate, we cannot legally take custody of him, even though grandma and grandpa both drink and grandpa is treating this poor child like a dog literally. Christopher …

Tonight while going out in our door-to-door Soulwinning outreach my Associate Pastor and I encountered a Mormon and had a mostly enjoyable conversation that ended with this young man still holding to his faith in the LDS gospel. One of the questions that the Mormon, whose nam is Danial, had was on Baptist history, so on Saturday I am going by to drop off a copy of the book "Trail of Blood" and hopefully get a chance to talk some more and will offer to meet as often as he likes to answer any questions that he has about the Christian faith. Please pray for my Dad. He has a bad heart that can't be operated on. He has pinched nerves in his elbows that need to be operated on but they must be careful because of his heart condition. Pray especially for him to come to know Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. He is lost, but he won't cotton to a serious talk about "religion".

Hi everyone, I'm new but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask everyone for prayer. I am pregnant with our 4th child and due in the middle of July. Everything is going well and even though I usually deliver late, I am asking everyone to pray that the Lord's will be done. Our church is having a "celebration" at the park tomorrow. I'm sure it's going to be lots of fun and all, but my two little sisters sometimes get in trouble at the park, e.g. they sometimes get sick for an unknown reason, or go somewhere they're not supposed to. Please pray for Leah, who just turned one...she has leukemia and its slowly coming back. They were going to wait a bit longer on the transplant but they are going to just have to go with it now and get it done asap since the cancer won't stay away with regular chemo. This is a very risky procedure for her age and may include full body radiation as well as the transplant. The odds aren't good from a human standpoint...please help us pray that God will spare this little one. Also pray for the faith of her parents, which is strong now...but... just pray. Thanks.

My Father passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, where he wanted to be. He's now with the Lord and is no longer suffering. Through this experience I have had to locate and talk to my sister whom I have not spoken to in 15 years. It ended up that 3 of the siblings had to sign in order for the cremation to happen. My brother in Montana is having the papers mailed to him, and my sister and I will be electronically signing through an email or text. Hopefully we can get him cremated. It's all been paid for, but the theft of Pop's safe while he was in the nursing home brings problems as the receipts for the cremation were in that safe. UGH! But God is still good. -

The problem is often the starting point is belief there is no God...or they cant know. Just because they look at things they can observe, they automatically rule out the supernatural. What they fail to see is they have their own religion, because they never observed one species become another. They have faith that whales became cows.. dinosaurs became birds and ape like creatures became humans. They don't have good evidence for this. Most creation scientists talk about what glasses you put on to view the evidence. I don't like this kind of thinking because it doesn't talk about the facts...but it does show preconceived assumptions. -
