Dearest Brethren, I just got off the phone with my son Benjamin. He has a friend who is not saved and the boy, Andrew, came flying by Benjamin's house at 120 mph on a motorcycle and lost control and crashed off the side of the road. When Benjamin ran up to the boy, he was crying out, "Oh Jesus, please forgive me. Oh Jesus, I'm sorry." Andrew was raised in a Christian home and knew he was not living right. Please pray for him not to die, and for the Lord to get hold of heart in a powerful way. He is a sweet boy. Two days ago, my FIL and a co-worker were doing some maintenance on a machine at work. They were needing to pound the machine with a hammer. The co-worker's hammer slipped from his hand, flew up into the air and landed on my FIL's knee. He went to the hospital and found out that the bone is badly bruised. I guess last night, he was having nightmares about the accident. Please, pray for quick healing.

Hey everyone, Bethel Baptist Church in Uniontown, PA is a young, Independent Baptist Church which is beginning to grow and prosper. My mom does oversight for homeschool families through a program at our church and one of her families that she helps was in a car accident yesterday. They have six kids and the father was killed on the scene and two kids are in serious condition. My mom's really upset about it, especially since they have six kids and the mother and father had a really close relationship. Please keep praying for my son Andrew...he'll be three in March. Anyway some of you know he's had chronic urticaria (hives) since the beginning of July. We have been to many doctors and specialists and have given him many different combinations of medicines. We have also found him becoming sensitive to chemicals in food and etc and have been cooking from scratch and etc. In November he went to the pediatric dermatologist at the Children's Hospital of Philadephia and she prescribed a Zyrtec/Zantac combo that started to help him out. These two young girls (Dallas is 14) were in a car accident as mentioned in an earlier posting. Alex is recovering but still having trouble with her memory and has yet a long ways to go. Dallas has made it beyond the crisis stage but she is still unconscious and on a ventialtor. Both of these young girls are still very much in need of our prayers.

Its too long of a story so I'll just have to sum up...but basically my SIL (who is in jail), her oldest son (16 yr old boy) was living with my MIL in South Carolina. He has been there I guess almost a year now. But he got in trouble in school and got suspended. And since he's technically in foster care, and from Alabama, the state of SC reported to Alabama that they don't want him in the state. On Monday night, I had a monster headache...thought it was a migraine. We called the paramedics...when they took my b/p, it was 180/100...when we arrived at the ER, my b/p shot up to 214/132, which is stroke material. I had been on b/p meds for almost 5 years and suddenly stopped because my Dr. ignored 3 faxes from the pharmacy. Therefore, I had been w/o blood pressure meds for almost 6 weeks. They gave me 2 Clonidine tabs (probably a very high dose) in order to get my b/p down far enough to allow them to give me a CAT scan .. to be sure I didn't have a stroke. Ginny, my youngest, who has Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, is sick this morning. She was throwing up, and I gave her the usual, extra dose, but she threw that up. When I went to get the anit-emitic we use in such a case, I discovered it was 2 years out of date (it's been that long since either of the kids with CAH were that sick.) I called the doctor and he said don't use the medicine that's out of date, but he'd call in a presciption for some more plus another kind of anti-emitic as well. My Dad found out today that the company he works for will be closing the plant he works in. There is a position in VA that is open within the company, but he is not sure if he wants to try to make that move or not. Please, pray for wisdom for my father as he has some tough decisions to make right now. My Dad lost his job just before I went off to college in 1991 with the company he worked for at the time. He has been in and out of work until around 3 years ago now with the current company. He has held many other positions, but the companies let him go - after he had to train in his replacements. My Mom is just in tears, and very afraid of what will happen now.

Woke up to find our main computer crashed. Has happened before, but this time it kept crashing. The disk is fried. This is the computer where the bulk of our stuff is stored. While I have backups, it will take time I don't have to replace what was lost. Then discovered we've got a negative balance at the bank. I am asking this on behalf of a Missionaries wife. Her Husband had a heart attack and stroke a number of months ago. He is in need to be transported from a hospital in New England to a nursing home in Florida. He is not well enough to be transported on either a commercial airline or a real small plane. There is a "Christian" organization that will transport him at a cost of $10k. Does anyone know of a truly Christian organization that would be able to tranport him. Well, Jonathan is sick - again. Thankfully, he is not throwing up this time. He has a horrible cough and had a fever earlier of 102.5. We bought a new cool mist vaporizer for his room (it's pretty cool. The front of it is an aquarium for toy fish and has changing colored lights.) We are hoping this helps him. We are thinking of not doing the nursery for RU tomorrow night so as not to infect the nurseries for church on Sunday.

The problem is often the starting point is belief there is no God...or they cant know. Just because they look at things they can observe, they automatically rule out the supernatural. What they fail to see is they have their own religion, because they never observed one species become another. They have faith that whales became cows.. dinosaurs became birds and ape like creatures became humans. They don't have good evidence for this. Most creation scientists talk about what glasses you put on to view the evidence. I don't like this kind of thinking because it doesn't talk about the facts...but it does show preconceived assumptions. -

My niece sent me a text yesterday telling me that my father had asked for her pastor to come out to the house to talk to him about eternity. He admitted that he was a sinner and needed the Lord, and he asked the Lord to save him. Praise the Lord for answered prayers. -

Yes, I have a pastor friend in the Independence, MO area that spoke against this often. I've got an aunt and uncle in O'Fallon, MO who could be on either side of the issue.
