My friend had to leave home for Scotland in the early hours this morning as her husband's father is gravely ill. Please pray for their whole family and for their long journey at such an hour. I really don't know what to do. I have a job but I am not working now. I work in a daycare but the place is closed because we are waiting on all the inspections to pass. We have been out of work for 2 months now. I went by to talk to my directors and all they would say is we are still waiting. My problem is do I wait till we open up or find another job? We are really hurting for money and cant live on my husbands paycheck. I am praying for Gods direction on this situation. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Will you pleas pray for mothers to be and the babies they are carrying? Pray for the babies's and the mothr's health and that the mothers' health after the pregnancy. The moms do not need post partum blues or post partum psyschosis after the baby is born. Angelmiss

I pray that this forum will find Unity in doctrinal truths, and not find unity in anything goes. I wouldn't doubt that there are some here who resist the Holy Spirit and have too much pride to submit to the truth because of their predetermined views and suppositions. I pray that each of us have an open mind and be willing to be corrected when it comes to doctrinal differences and allow the Holy Spirit to humble us and teach us through prayer and diligent study of God's Word. Julian the grandson of my mom & my hairdresser still hasn't been reunitedwit h his mom and gradnmother. His foster mom has taught him to call him grandmother & Mom unbecomng names. A three year old should not know words like this. Also when his grandmother dropped him off today his foster mom told juilan he needed to be scrubbed down. First it was the rear-end going out on our van (our only vehicle), which we manage to cover with a temporary loan, but it meant cutting back on expenses. We trimmed our already-tight, grocery list and any other expense we could. But then the van blew an intake cap as well as burst the radiator. With generous help for our church we were able to pay for the repairs and keep going, but other than a smattering of regular clients and a maintenance income from a new client our income was very limited. Please pray for my friend Susanne! She is pregnant in the 6 month. The baby is pushing against her kidney. This causes her a lot pain. She has to lay a lot, what is not so easy for her to do. If the baby continues pushing against her kidney this could cause an infection and this could cause early contractions. Please pray for Gods will and a lot patience for Susanne. Thank you all!

My Grandma is in congestive heart failure and was given only 6 more months to live. I really don't think she will last that long - she is very weak, and frail right now. Her children are trying to decide who should take the responsibility to care for her and my Grandpa during this time.

My mom had a physical last week, and the doc said all was well, except...(doncha just hate that??)her liver had a couple of things on it that concern him enough to order an MRI next week (or catscan or whatever test they use). She is, understandably, scared. Two years ago the doc removed an 11 pound tumor, which was benign, Praise the Lord!! But still... She is saved, for which I am so thankful. But she is also caregiver for my almost 100 year old grandma. And she homeschools my nephew. And she takes care of my dad, of course. I strongly believe that I will move out elsewhere after I get the will from the family death. Where I live is not an ideal place for me setting up a deaf ministry even though I don't have a degree as a pastoral/theology field. Would not mind starting from the stratch. Where I work, can help with moving expenses which is wonderful for my current family. When would it be? Possibly next year.

Hey, everybody. Recently, a Bennigans in our area went out of business and the building is up for sale, along with much of their equipment. I'm seriously considering buying it and opening a restaurant there. Many years ago, my family owned three successful restaurants and I've done a lot of catering, so I have the experience. We're debt free and money isn't an issue. But I just don't know if it would be wise to do that in this economy. Please pray for wisdom on this.

Ask for prayer for my mom. Lately her blood pressure has really shot up. At the doctors two days ago they couldn't even get a reading on her blood pressure, when they finally did, it was reading 209. In 7 more days it will mark 7 months from when my dad passed away. My parents had been married for 43 years. So there has been lots of extra stress and anxiety in my mom's life lately. Please say a prayer for her.

I hate it that I'm always asking for prayer, but things keep popping up. When we got home from church Sunday the breaker wad switched off in our bedroom. I switched it on but a few hours later it switched off again. I started unplugging things to see what was doing it, and one lone power strip (with nothing plugged in it) was the culprit (so i thought) I unplugged it, but a short time later the breaker switched off again, and wouldn't switch back on. My wife happened to be there, and tried to "fix" it by shutting of all the breakers on one side. I hadn't realized they were off so I thought half the house was messed up. Just wanted to ask for prayer for my church. We are having what's called God's Grace Conference starting Sunday and going through Thursday. The theme is "The Mind of Christ". It is kind of a gathering of the pastors in the area for an almost week long conference. It is for people in ministries in the church as well. Lots of preaching and teaching and edifying going to go on. Last conference uplifted a couple of people and caused them to stay in the ministry instead of give up and leave. Pray that the Holy Spirit is in control and people truly learn how to think with the mind of Christ instead of our own. Thanks. In Christ

A 13 boy who used to come to our church was on his bike and hit a parked car, got thrown into traffic and another car hit him. Not sure how he is doing yet. Possible head injuries. I complete agree brother, we younger people are taught as you said that we are the descendants of primates, we are then taught that as you’ve mentioned about the new view of the Bible, that our religion is wrong and backward, a very sad thing in todays education. I hear it even from teachers and peers who would profess to be Christians.

It's strange how the Bible was held in such high esteem then, but that after this trial, not so very far from where I live today, the Bible is no longer welcomed into the classroom, and we are now considered to be the proginy of monkeys. It's so very sad. -
Hello brothers and sisters, I was recently given the assignment of writing a paper on the infamous Scopes V. Tennessee trial. I found it quite interesting how the defense attorney, Clarence Darrow, had no genuine argument or examination of the evidence itself. He instead called the prosecuting attorney, Mr. William Jennings Bryan, as a sole witness and ridiculed his faith, interpretation of the Bible, and his view of the creation account.
