Hi everybody, my name's Malachi and I'm 34 years old. I'm married with a daughter Mary whos 17 and a 7 year old son named Emmanuel(named after my local Baptist church). I found the Lord when I was a young boy with the help of my father who was in every sense a true Christian.

Hi Gang, Just a short intro. I'm from Michigan, Detroit area. Just started a new Church, after getting burned here a few years back. I'm still in observation mode at this new one. It's a Missionary Baptist Church, KJV and Hymns. But there's a few issues I have. If someone wants to turn on my IFB access here. I'll slip into a IFB only section and talk about it. -Pat

My husband and I were married in August, and are preparing for missions in Peru. We live in Alaska for now, but we're leaving for southern Texas next week to practice Spanish and hopefully witness to Mexicans. We should be able to go on deputation next year. We enjoy witnessing to people, and I feel burdened especially for those who believe in works for salvation. Please pray for us as God does His ministry through us! Hello everyone from Canada! hmm, a little about me... While I do go to an Independent Baptist church, I do not believe in saying I am of a particular denomination. Within denominations there are many individual churches with separate doctrinal beliefs. What I like to tell people is the fact that I am a Born Again, Bible-believing Christian, Saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ. I am also the pianist at my church. I love the old-time hymns. I believe that the KJV is the only accurate Bible in the English language. Southern Gospel is my favorite music genre. I am married to the most wonderful guy!

Ohio had a trifecta President Trump, Senator Moreno (R) replaced Brown (D), and NO on issue 1! From what I hear the nation also has a trifecta of republicans for president, senate, and house. I hope the opportunity isn't squandered. -
Many years ago I came across a sermon an IB preacher named Gary Dice when he visited Australia, and from memory he was preaching on this passage, or at least referencing it. He sang a slightly silly song about this section of Romans 7, but I have never been able to find any reference to it anywhere else. I would appreciate it if anyone has heard of it and could give me a reference or link to it, or best case, the sheet music. I know there are many songs that come up when you do a google search, but none of them have been the one I am looking for. It has the words almost direct from the KJV, not just something loosely based on that text. Thanks folks. -

I also noticed he seems quieter, perhaps more humble this time. But even last time I had come to view his particular tendency to boast as just having an immensely positive attitude. He's also careful to thank others and to offer credit where credit is due, while having no compunctions about calling out anyone who deserves none. -

Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh?
