I just read some disturbing information. I was rather shocked. I will not link to the forum but I was reading a thread in another Christian site. The people have no Christ-like attitude. They call each other whores and other nasty names. One thread a girl said she was looking for a Christian guy. She would move just to meet him. JAT - there are a few parody forums out there. Don't know if this was one, but that is a possibility. If it is an actual forum, it is, of course, not truly Christian! It is emblematic of our times, though - so many in Christiandom (regardless of affiliation) believe that we have the license along with the liberty to do whatever we want - or actually, they use their liberty for licentiousness, isn't that what Paul said?

"And every man did that which was right in his own eyes." A statement that is so true today! And so many justify their "rights" to sin.

A parody forum is one that purports to be Christian and yet obviously isn't. Landover is a forum that is supposedly a mega church that has all these ministries, etc. It is not real obvious at first blush that it is a parody, but after reading a bit of the postings it becomes obvious that either they are tongue-in-cheek or just really weird. Actually, I think Landover is both - JMHO. Don't know which one you are talking about, so it could very well be a real forum, filled with lost people and very carnal Christians.

oops - didn't mean to spill the beans, I was just using an example. When I first went to the site, I thought is was real - and real weird. I read a bit more, got more skeptical, and then found out it was parody.

I was starting to wonder some about how "Christian" they really were. I ust found the site though and did not know it was a parody. I will not be back to it again. I like parodys but not that type.

I looked up info on that site. The person in charge is full of hate it seems. It is not even just a poor joke but a downright hate forum. Makes me sick! Call me an idiot, fool, or any bit of vulgar word you can think of and I DON'T CARE! Make a religious joke and as long as it's innocent I don't really care. Make fun of my God like this MORON is and you will see a whole different side of me.

I remember years back when I 1st found Landover. yes, at 1st I thought it was a real church, but after checking it out a bit more I realized what it really was. No doubt, they've got mocking God & sowing to the flesh down to a science.

Completely different. I am a member of the FFF and there are real Christians there. This other one is just a fake.
