Would it be Hector's trusted dog......Winston....(who had the wisdom of and voice of Winston Churchill)? or could it be Corporal David ? S.E Ohio.........hmmmmm..........I know someone in Washington Court House..........and another thing I notice about people from Ohio, while traveling to Myrtle Beach, SC, I always meet more license plates from Ohio going to and from than any other state. I told my wife, if Ohioians quit going to Mrytle Beach, SC, they'd have to shut down the city, lol.....

Give Up?

Sorry Dave, I don't give up !!!! I'm still in the process of working on it. I was gonna say Thomas Dudley, who was the Puritan that served as governor of Mass., but I'm not sure.....I don't think he did any pastoring. I'm still searching through some of my study books....give me another couple days.........

Okay, okay.........I know there are people biting their fingernails, waiting for an answer. So, I'll hold my answer in abeyance (I learn this word while in union negotiations back in the 80's), and not look (lol), and I'll give you my answer at a later time.

Wichbla, that one was answered a page or so back; we're on to two more quotes now, neither of which I have a clue about.

Wow, thanks, I totally missed where somebody answered it.

I think people like to have closure. It's like salvation,
2 Timothy 1:12 "...for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."

There are folks who have to know even in some trivial thing such as this challenge.

Next clue:"...present with the Lord." : January 25, 1986

YES!

"Not by force, not by fear, but by love."
The Man God Uses, by Oswald J. Smith
Chapter 4, Page 31

Speaking of decipleship in the calling of us all to Christ's service by our Lord.

Yes, and this book is a great challenge to each of us. I believe its out of print but, if anyone finds a copy, buy it and read it. Now, tag you're it. Bring on a quote!
