  1. I think I understand what you're saying. My understanding, was it was read publicly at the feast of the Tabernacles since the author's emphasis on the enjoyment of life made it appropriate reading at this annual season of rejoicing. A lot of Solomon's wisdom was included and some repeats of what was written in the Proverbs. I've read where some theologians think that an impersonator wrote the book of Ecclesiates rather than Solomon himself. Anyway.....regardless, I think your doctrine is sound and I'd still sit under your preaching anytime. I love your comments.
  2. Our day was great too John. Sunday School teaching was from Colossians Chapter 2. Watching out for those false teachers (with enticing words) that decieve those who are in the faith and may cause them to stray away. Truth is, we should read the word for ourselves and let the Holy Spirit lead us. In the morning worship, the Pastor just gave us "plain talk". Called sin what it was and how it would destroy us and eventually bring forth "death". Tonight, the Pastor gave us some instructions on what to leave at the door before we enter the house to worship. Things like anguish, attitudes, arguements, appearance. A great instructional day. One that I needed. Thanks be to God !!!
  3. If the rapture happens and you're still posting, YOU LOSE !!!
  4. Is today a day the Lord has made and should I rejoice and be glad in it?
  5. I did not know that. The longest word in the King James Bible is a man's name and is recorded in Isaiah chapter 8. His name is Maher-shalal-hash-baz. It's 18 letters long.
