Well, the owner and his wife do try to keep a reign on the genunine nutballs that come and go. Not all of it is fake. But once people catch on, they usually stop posting.

I haven't seen him in about 15 years, but I also personally know the owner of the FFF, and he is in it to make money. He bought both the FFF and the BB to make money. Nothing wrong with that. I do not use OB to make money, and the money that does come in, I use toward the maintenance of the server. I prefer to use OB as a more serious board, although we do like to have fun also.

He tried to buy some of our sites in the past, put we kindly declined.

The way I see it is that he can use his site anyway that he wants, just like I can. I may not agree with how he runs it, and it is my decision not to participate on that forum.

He's in it to make money. That's right. And reading some of the Godless things said there, and viewing many of the Godless Google ads there, should alert people that this is not what it appears to be. Do you really believe there are 42172 members there?!?!?

Well, I know I am wrong but the very first thing that popped into my mind when I read "Jerry Howard" was "JERRY Mathers" (the Beaver) and Ron HOWARD (as Opie), thus, "Jerry Howard." (Ron Mathers - RON Howard/Jerry MATHERS). I know... I'm thinking way too much here!

The name is to attract people and get them in. Sadly, more people will check out a board titled "Fightin' Fundamental Forums" than one with a simple name.

Perhaps this board needs to be renamed "The Pulpit Banging, Bible Thumping, Amen Shouting, KJV Believing, Online Baptist"

"Fighting Fundamentalists" was a term used by many Baptist to describe themselves due to their determination to fight sin and apostacy.

"Fighting Fundamentalist" was a term used in derision against said Baptist due to their tendency to fight against Baptist preachers of similar persuation who differed in 1 or more pet areas.
