You basically have 2 parties that hold strong to their core values. The conservatives who are pro-life, pro-gun, against same-sex marriage, less government, fiscal responsibility, low taxes and more freedom.

Then you have the far left liberals who are anti-gun, pro-abortion, pro gay rights, more government, less freedom for the good of the country, anti-God.

Then you have the moderates, where issues like abortion, gay rights, gun control, and government control aren't that important to them. They want to know how is the gov. going to keep them safe and how they're pocketbook will be affected. The economy dictates who gets hired and who gets fired. These are the ones who help you win elections.

I hope and pray that most of these moderates see through BO's and the media's smoke screens and realize how far BO is taking us from what our founding fathers envisioned for this country. Does anyone really think that our founding fathers would approve of the direction in which this country is going? I think they would be horrified.

There were claims that Clinton was going to create a crisis and stay in office. There were claims Bush the Second might try that. Neither happened.

What president in our lifetime held to his oath of office and truly abided by the Constitution? I disagree with most of what Obama is doing but thus far he's not really trampling the Constitution that much more than Bush or some others.

Congress won't impeach Obama, or any president, for trampling the Constitution because they are trampling the Constitution as well. They don't want to follow the Constitution any more than the president does. All the Constitution is really used for today is to help keep one anothers political enemies in check.

Rush, for all of his talk, isn't a true conservative and he left many of his conservative stances in the dust when he became a Repub celebrity. True enough, he can still talk a good talk and in some cases he still holds to some solid positions and in those areas he's great.

It's not true that we have a major conservative political party because the Repubs are far from that. The Repubs are filled with neo-cons, "moderates", even some outright liberals. True conservatives and true Christians are only wanted for their votes. Their core values are not wanted. Even another Reagan wouldn't be welcome in todays Repub Party. The Repubs are trying to be as close to the Dems as possible and that's far from being conservative.

For the most part, the Dems are indeed a liberal Party and today they are even farther left than they were during the Clinton years.

There are many independents, true conservatives, staunch Christians, libertarians, constitutionalists, and others out there that are not happy with the Dems or Repubs. They are not united, they often bicker among themselves, and are not likely to pull together to challenge the Dems or Repubs.

Bush radically trampled the Constitution and left in place the easy means for Obama to continue the trend in a far left manner. Obama is using aspects of Homeland Security and government interference in the banking and other industries that Bush began in order to achieve his goals.

All of this didn't begin with our last president and current president, it's just that so much of the constitutional trampling previous presidents did has finally culminated in what we see today.

America doesn't need a bandage or a little tinkering here and there. America is totally off it's original track and needs restored or reorganized.

And he is not even a natural born America citizen.

He's certainly not proved that he is and if he is, why wouldn't he quickly put forth the proof?

There are several things we regular people have to provide a certified birth certificate for and yet he can't do this? Very suspicious.

I saw this on Rush and thought it was funny.

The GM one reminds me of a story I heard about an automobile entrepreneur quite some time ago. He made a car everyone could afford and named it after his initiative. The common folk had common cars!

The entrepreneur...
Adolf Hitler had a keen interest in cars even though he did not like to drive. In 1933, shortly after taking over as leader of Germany, he teamed up with Ferdinand Porsche to make changes to Porsche's original 1931 design to make it more suited for the working man, thus founding Volkswagen.

A person doesn't get convicted of for someone else's crimes. Even if an individual associated with ACORN committed voter fraud, which in turn benefited Pres. Obama, you can't bring charges, much less convict, Mr. Obama for voter fraud.

Now who's doing the assuming? You're assuming that he wasn't involved at all or had no knowledge of such. Everything questionable surrounding this election and administration just seems to get pushed under the rug to be forgotten......it is not likely we will ever know the full truth. And, I believe that more than ONE person committed voter fraud...........because the numbers do not match up in many parts of the country.

I'm not making an assumption. There is no evidence that Pres. Obama had anything to do with anything improper. There is no reason for me to assume nothing happend, when in fact there is no evidence that anything happened. You are right, there could be this huge conspiracy cover up. But until we see some evidence of it, there is no reason to assume he did anything wrong.
