I've thought about that! I remember watching a program about that and they also showed some families who decided to spend huge sums of money to buy turf, have it hauld in, placed in their yard, fertilized and all, then cared for carefully and costly, just so they could have grass in their yard.

Rocks ar cheap, plentiful, and thrive during times of drought. That ges my vote LOL

Rocks, snakes crawl up amongst them and hide, them you startle them, and they bite.

I mowed part of my yard, this afternoon is going to be hot and muggy.

It rained here most of the day. One storm went through while we were under a tornado watch. Some high winds but nothing serious. I'm blessed and thankful to have a God who is my Shield! Praise God!!!

No rain here, a bit over 85º today, very humid part of the time. Got most of my mowing done.

It was supposed to get up to around 90 here today, but I slept through it so I don't know if it made it.

We'll be hot and humid once the rain and storms get moved out. Thankfully, our church has air conditioning!

We had some pretty rough storms this evening. Even got a little bit of hail in it at my house, and had pretty rough winds. Still raining but for the most part the storming is over.
