Kind of seemed that way last night. Had a very blessed Sunday service and Sunday school today! We had two vistors all the way from Ohio today!

And the singing! How our congregation really seemed filled with the Spirit as we sang "It is Well with My Soul" and "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing"!

Yes, I might add, just because its beautiful singing taking place does not mean its spirit filled and led. Many songs will affect the emotions, yet not do one thing to the spirit dwelling within a believer.

Very true Jerry! What I enjoy the most is those times you can tell the singing is Spirit led and Spirit filled. No amount of beautiful singing can even touch the greatness of Spirit-filled singing!

Don't many singers sing to show off their voice? Isn't that why many will take a good old hymn, butcher it, them sing it in a way it was never meant?

Yes, and that's such a shame. This is one of the reasons I'm glad we don't have a choir and we only occasionally have someone sing. Most of our singing is the whole congregation singing hymns to the Lord.

Me too brother! Lat night was great, but there is just something about going to church on Sunday!

Our pastor also teaches an adult Sunday school which is so great coming right after his sermon!

Im hoping we add a weekly Bible study apart from The normal Sunday and Wenesday services. There has been talk but nothing definate yet.

Our church has three Bible studies during the week. They are on different days and various hours so there will be a study that just about anyone could attend. What a blessing!
