Outside the cities, I've always enjoyed Missouri.

Its alright. Its not home though. lol When I first got here it was really boring but now I have made a few friends and it isn't so bad.

It's always tough at first but once you settle in some and get to know a few folks it helps.

It was also hard because of all the "baptist" churches out there none of them seemed to hold the Baptist distinctives true. So finding a church I liked was hard.

I know what you mean. Unfortunately I can say "been there, done that" when it comes to trying to find a solid church.

I did finally find one... I like it but it isn't home.... so it is still a little weird.

Those were the main things I always didn't care for when I was moving around. The way things are today it's a blessing that there is even a good church around either one of us!

The church that I found was started in the late 60's by a MSGT. Started it in his basement and now they have a little place, and the majority of the church is military, or retired military. It amazes me that they are still the way they are since that isn't how hardly anyone in the military is.
