January bowl games

I am excited my husband's boss was able to get him 2 tickets to the Capital One Bowl game this coming Monday .

We weren't able to afford to go last year,but now thanks to his boss we are able to go this year .

Thats one thing great about living close to where the games are gonna be played .

Hmm no its not .I guess you don't like sports .
I grew up in a very sports minded home my dad always was watching a game .
So I know sports pretty well ,more now that I am married .

Ok the Capital One Bowl is a College bowl game played on January 1 here in Florida namely Orlando .

University of Wisconsin aka the Badgers
are playing
University of Arkansas
The avatar I have is Wisconsin hence the large W on the helmet .
Friday Purdue Boilermakers are playing Maryland there in the same stadium .
Its college games I have been to one other college game when UW (Wisconsin ) played IU (Indiana) that year UW went to the Rose Bowl which is in California.
Michigan is playing University of Southern California this time .

Super Bowl won't be played till February .
They still have one week of regular season and then the playoffs .

Oh. I thought the superbowl was in January. I think it was a couple of years ago because we were on a crusie and they had a superbowl party. :?

Before 2002 the Superbowl was held the last Sunday in January .Since 2002 they are in February .
This year the superbowl will be held in Florida at The Miami Dolphins Stadium .

Well it was a great game and we had awesome seats .
It was not to hot and the rain held off .

It was way different than watching it on tv .
