Members dadof4 Posted January 10, 2007 Members Posted January 10, 2007 Here it is - you all knew it was coming. Jonathan has now come down with this nasty thing going around my family. He is all stuffed up, and coughing - hard. He cries when he coughs  He is only 3 months old, so pray that this will not last long, and that he will not get the fevers like the other 2 kids had with this. Quote
Members Psalms18_28 Posted January 10, 2007 Members Posted January 10, 2007 praying. I know how scary it can be. In fact Last week, My son developed severe croup. He couldn't breath , cry, or talk. He choked when he tried to drink. Call 911 they tried to give him oxygen and it didn't help so they took him to the hospital and the doctor gave him some steroid inhaler. It helped my son alot. He is better now. So if your son is crying, that is a very good sign that he is breathing. Quote
Members Anon Posted January 10, 2007 Members Posted January 10, 2007 Scary! My son went to the hospital for a steroid for croup too.... I warded some of it off though with a hot steamy shower and then the cold night air. Hope your little one gets better soon! Its hard to watch them so sick so young. Quote
