Please pray for my DH's boss (his name is John). He's had a lot of heart and kidney problems in the last several years and his doctor recently told him he's not a good candidate for a heart transplant based on his history. Now he's in the hospital, he's fading fast, and his 2 kids are trying to get back from China in time. Please pray that they do, and also that he receives Christ before he dies. My husband (Robin) has shared the gospel with John on several occasions and recently had the boldness to tell him he needs to get right with God. It could be today (I've got my ear to the phone, so to speak).

Thank you both for your prayers. He's still holding on, and his kids are still trying to get back from China. I'll keep ya'll posted.

I wanted to update everyone on the status. I received an email this morning from my husband. He had gotten a message from his boss' wife yesterday telling him they had taken her husband off life support (his kids got back from China on Friday so at least they were able to say good-bye to their father ). I have no idea whether or not John received Christ in time. I suppose it's too late to pray for that at this point, but please pray for the surviving family members, and for Robin and me that we would be good comforters and helpers to the family in their time of grief and need.

I appreciate everyone's prayers. I consider you all my friends...and family in a way as well. :smile

One more thing -- the only good news in all this is that my husband will not be losing his job right away. He will stay on and help his boss' wife (Chrissy) finish up any deals in process and help get the company sold (however long that takes).
