I have never commented on any movie, but God is so using this film to reach deep into peoples lives. We have had many friends and neighbor's into our home to see this one. One night there were 11 of us, and not a dry eye, the Holy Spirit is so faithful. I praise the Lord for His faithful hand in the lives of Angus and Gill Buchan, not to mention the beautiful jOB Frank Rauterbach and Jean Wilhelm did in portraying them. To date I have purchased 4 copies of (Faith Like Potatoes) for people God has directed me to share it with. I wish I could thank everyone personally for their efforts in producing such a needed truthful testimony in such troubled times

We watched this movie a few weeks ago. It was really very good. The beginning had some drinking and so forth (can't remember if there was any cussing...if there was, it was not noticeable) because the man wasn't saved at first. It was an exciting movie because God did things through this man's faith that were incredible. And it's based on a true story. The DVD introduces the real people after the movie is over.

The film "Faith potatoes" very good on several levels. First of all, the story itself, and painful, are encouraging. Remember the movie "Chariots of Fire"? Well, "Faith potatoes" is a sermon of 10 times, 100 times more painful, and for each inspiration. Some people will find a clear description of the Gospel is turnoff. But some who proposed to enjoy the characters firmly OBvious flaws and struggles, in particular, struggle and faith in God.Second, "faith potatoes" is about the South Africans and it is by the South African people. Sometimes uncomfortable tension between ethnic groups in South Africa do not cover. But they are not a focus of the movie. This is just living in South Africa. In the tense backdrop of the film increase, or even explain, because it shows the drama.
