Profiles on Left or Right

I'm starting to get used to it on the right. Maybe you should make it an option in the CP to satisfy all users.

I changed mine a couple of days ago and I like it with us on the right since it keeps us off the left. I don't want to be on the left, especially in an election year. :Green

Matt, perhaps copy the template and make a ProSilver Left and a Prosilver Right??? I like it on the right.

I also think its a bit early. Perhaps after a week or so, more people would be ok with it.

Edit: Apparently, the new theme made me miss the other pages. I agree with the 14 other folks who say make it an option ;-)

I would not create a separate template just for profile movement. Instead I will add a field to the user in the database and make it switchable in the UCP under board preferences. I probably will still keep the Subsilver theme too, but Prosilver will be the default theme.

I see that the profile on the right is gaining momentum. :lol

You're keeping SubSilver?? I'm very tempted to change back. I've had the ProSilver since you mentioned it and just can't get used to it yet. It is difficult to "read".

One thing I've noticed is that when I click on "View New Posts" or look at a list of threads in a forum, everything seems scrunched together. Maybe if the boxes had more vertical space and there were some lines separating the colored circles from the title, it might help.

More than likely I will keep it, but I am not promising anything yet. Give Prosilver some time, it will grow on you.

Your used to a table layout where Prosilver is table-less and strictly css based.

I haven't read every post here (sorry if this has already been discussed), but why does the profile show on the left when I log-in and on the right when I log out? Even the OB template appears different.

Because you have your profile set at subsilver, and the default theme is Prosilver.

The default theme slows down my computer at work a bit when I try to view the forums. These computers need to be updated.... :roll

For some strange reason it does run slow on old computers and in Opera browsers. It is fast in in IE7, FF, and mobile devices.

runs fine in my Opera as far as I can tell...
