Some churches offer a bunch of wild singin', then a 10 minute "sermon" ( if it can really be called that), some more feel good singin' and then out the door.

My brother is an associate pastor at a Friends church. They have a coffee bar set up so people can have coffee during the sermon. and they wear shorts/khakis with their church t-shirt so people don't feel out of place.

Sounds like an Assemblies of God church I attended with a girlfriend back in the early 80s.

Yeah, that place helped me come to Christ but shortly afterwards a new pastor took over and the new pastor was VERY charismatic and modernistic.

I think our pastor will be waiting until next year to start a new book of the Bible. He'll be doing Christmas themed sermons soon.

I don't know what Pastor Howerton will preach on next. But I trust it will be what I need!
