Abraham's Bosom is where he would have been. This place was brought up in the story that Christ told about the rich man and Lazarus.

Well, both places were certainly in the heart of the earth. They were in what the OT referred to as Hell, separated by a great gulf - the righteous compartment of Hell (as some call it (Abraham’s Bosom/Paradise) on one side and where the wicked suffered on the other.

Psalms 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell;
neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Acts 2:27
Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Acts 2:30-31
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
