So on Friday a friend of mine gave me a late Mothers Day gift...an expensive 2 lb box of Fannie Mae assorted chocolates! Wow. And I'm trying to diet. Anyway...LOL...I was doing good, just eating a piece or two here and there, and my husband was having some, and I gave some to the kids.

Last night my husband ate a few and accidentally left the box out on the counter. :roll

This morning the three oldest boys got up...the three year old pulled the box down on the floor...and all three commenced a chocolate feast before I got up. :roll :roll :roll They must have eaten at least $20-$25 worth of chocolate for breakfast. GRRRR!

I guess that's one way to make sure it doesn't go to MY waistline....but man! I will NOT be telling my friend who ate most of her lovely two pound box of candy....

And Andrew will probably be quite hivey now from all the weird fillings he probably ate!

All that lovely chocolate gone down the gullets of male children, who cannot possibly truly appreciate the nuances of good chocolate....

Hope Andrew doesn't get too sick - I'm sure he'll think it was worth it, though, if he does!

Definitely worth it I'm sure...all I got out of them was a halfhearted "I'm sorry" and THAT after they tried to blame their little bitty brother for all of it! (Its like "Ummm you couldn't have told your brother its a no no and put the box back up????")

Eat plenty of fiber, vegetables, fruit, and whole-grain bread if you want to lose or maintain your weight! Inches off your waist is more important than losing weight! And by all means, exercise by swimming, running, walking, biking, hiking, etc. Exercise is the key to waist control, not weight control!

chocolate is a vegetable - it is made from a bean, right? then it is mixed with sugar - which is also a vegtable because it is made from sugar cane....so you may have also found a new way to get your kids to eat more veggies!

Galatians 5:23 says that temperance is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Temperance is self-control, but it is hard to exercise self-control when you are on a diet. It takes much prayer, meditation, and will-power. i am on a diet now so I know where you are coming from!

A sure way to become thinner is to stop eating big portions, just choose half of the meal that you used to eat before.
