Okay, I knew that Benjamin always stuck by Judah...but, I didn't know it means "son of my right hand". Awesome. :thumb What a strong, honourable name!


Even though I wasn't saved at the time...I chose the name Mark (his dad came up with his middle name) because it was Biblical (we agreed on both names). As a former RCC...of course, I didn't know that much...but, the first teaching job I ever had (where I met his dad) was at St. Mark's School. It is, also, his dad's brother's name. He was a Navy pilot in Desert Storm at the time. I believed in "luck" back then...that is why we named him that, as well. Well...God is "lucky"...hehe (Irish). The Lord blessed everyone! :smile

We found out on Friday that we're having a boy!!

As soon as our computer stops being crazy we'll post the new ultrasound pics.

So, Lord willing, January/February will bring little Benjamin Adra!

Congrats on little Benjamin. We are supposed to find out what ours will be tne first part of Oct. My wife (and I) are looking forward to knowing. She wants to be able to start decorating for it.

Congratulations. We will hopefully be welcoming our little boy at some point today. :-)
Jonathan's brother and his wife are having a baby in a few weeks and they are calling him Ben.
We must still be in the "boy cycle"-eveybody around here lately has been having boys. There are three ladies in the hospital here that are having babies today and they're all having boys.

Knowing that it's a boy has certainly helped us in knowing what to buy. We've decided to decorate the nursery in jungle animals and green. That way if later on we have a girl the theme will still be okay and it's a theme that older kids still like.

I missed some of this thread! Benjamin is a cute name...we did Bible names with our kids...Caleb, Isaac, Andrew, Levi. Until we had Levi, we unwittingly had the "CIA" in our house. LOL.

LOL CIA...cute! I LOVE all your kids names. Isaac has always been one of my favorites.

We want Bible names for all our kids...or at least things found in the Bible...just because it's a good foundation.

I love knowing that our baby is a boy. Samer and I call him "Benjamin Bunny" beause he's always kicking and jumping around in the ultrasounds and lots of times I can just feel him kicking me all over my tummy. We bought a little onesie with the character Benjamin Bunny on it and it even says 'Benjamin'. :lol

Samer and I are such sillies about this baby...we're thrilled beyond words.

Congratulations on it being a boy! I hope that's what you wanted most (not that you wouldn't want one or the other, but usually people have atleast a slight preference - I actually wanted girls both times, and God gave them both to me!). I know you two will be great parents!

That's so exciting. I guessed he was gonna be a boy when Rachel told me he has your nose. :Bleh
