Was there any Baptist who interpreted Jonah 3: 10 that repentance of sin is a work prior to Steven Anderson?

Sorry, thinking you need Jesus is not repentance. Repentance is turning from specific sins in your heart (ie. accepting that God says those sins are against Him and turning from them) and turning towards the Lord. Repentance is not cleaning up your life first - BUT it is changing your mind about the sins you previously loved and choosing not to do them anymore. True repentance and faith towards the Lord Jesus Christ (trusting in His finished work of salvation, through grace alone) will result in the Holy Spirit regenerating you, and then you will have the power to clean up your life. Ie. the inward change (if it is true repentance) WILL result in an outward corresponding change.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Anderson and his followers try to classify repentance into two kinds, repentance not of sin and repentance of sin.  They say that when you believe in God you do not repent of sin but you just repent not of sin but from unbelief. If they are asked if unbelief is sin, they would say yes.

Well, he certainly missed the boat. The Bible teaches that the Law is to show us how we are all guilty before God - and that primarily enforces the 10 Commandments - certainly implying that the ones we have broken out of those need to be repented of. But the Bible also gives other passages that list specific sins that will keep us from Heaven, therefore indicating THOSE exact sins need to be repented of when someone comes to the Saviour for salvation.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Timothy 1:9-10 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
