What came first?

For a Christian, the phrase, "What came first, the chicken or the egg?" is a simple answer: the chicken of course! Genesis 1:21 - "And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good."

For an evolutionist, the answer is .... complicated. 

I saw this video on youtube and thought they did a good job describing how a chick can breathe inside it's egg. The entire process of a chick forming is very intricate, but looking at just the shell of the egg and how it was created to protect the forming chick inside as well as provide it oxygen is so complex, that it couldn't have come about by happy coincidence. Everything about it points to a designer and creator.

*note: I do not know the man (probably not Christian, I don't know) presenting the information in the video, but it's in an easy to understand format and interesting to watch and as far as I could tell, presented only facts and not theory*

I like how he uses words as "construction" and "your beginning" etc. Very refreshing sounding far from the very evolutionistic and detached words that a lot of other nature shows like to use.

The institute for creation research (your link) is usually a Christian's perspective with lots of apologetics material. NPR, on the other hand, not so much, but this film is refreshing.
