I never warmed my kids bottles. I think it made for less spit up. For my day care baby, I just use warm tap water to warm her bottle of thawed breast milk.

I breastfed most of the time.... if bottles necessary, either used warm water for the formula (last two kids refused formula) or warmed the expressed milk a bit. However if you express it fresh it can stay on the countertop for several hours at room temp due to its antibiotic qualities.
