I had read Isaiah 8, can you tell me for certain who vs 14 is about?

Isaiah 8:10 - Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God [is] with us.
Isaiah 8:11 - For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,
Isaiah 8:12 - Say ye not, A confederacy, to all [them to] whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
Isaiah 8:13 - Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and [let] him [be] your fear, and [let] him [be] your dread.
Isaiah 8:14 - And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Isaiah 8:15 - And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

Can you demonstrate from Scripture please?  Verses would be helpful!

Oh, and a few more questions come to mind also, in the same book, Isaiah 56:

Isaiah 56:1 - Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation [is] near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

Who is vs 1 about?  Can you demonstrate from Scripture?  Is it fulfilled anywhere in Scripture?  If so, where?

Isaiah 56:8 - The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather [others] to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

Who is vs 8 about?  Can you demonstrate from Scripture, and if it is fulfilled anywhere in Scripture, and can you cite this for me please?

Thanks!

Hi KnockKnock. Five distinct questions! I don't think they could be answered without a bit of time spent, and for that reason, given your conduct the other evening, I think I'd want a bit more candour from you about your reasons for interacting with this forum before I'd be prepared to invest. Just speaking for myself...

You have asked some interesting questions. You are Knock knock? I have not heard of you. I hope your intentions are good and not for confusion.

If you really want answers, have you sought the face of God for them?

Are you a born again child of God?

You need to understand that no man can see what the scriptures mean unless he is born of God first. So when you ask questions like this under false pretenses, you will bring upon yourself 'issues' from God, just because you are doing so in 'fun' to make fun of his children.

If you really are curious enough to know the answers - study it out yourself. Then if you still need help, come back here.

By the way, that stone is not the stone at Mecca.

Addressing Isa 8:

And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:  Mar 12:10, see also Matt 21:42, Luke 20:17
The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.  Psalm 118:22
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.  Acts 4:11
Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,  1 Pet 2:7
Without Messiah, Israel becomes a "house of cards".  However, someday he will indeed be the cornerstone of the nation of Israel.

Ezek  43:7  And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet,
where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile
