Members DaveW
BroMatt,Can I suggest that this debate, and any others that are deemed worthwhile, be packaged in a downloadable form at the conclusion?I don't mean all cleaned up and formatted - that would be heaps of work - but a mass paste into a word document or similar. There should be enough inherent formatting to make it useful, and the downloader can then clean it up if he wants.I think it could be a useful resource. 1Timothy115
Members Alan
I appreciate the response made by Pastor Markle in his last posting, (Tuesday, May 5th.), on the spiritual, doctrinal, and prophetic differences between Isaiah 53 and Daniel 9:24-27. Also, I appreciate Pastor Markle’s correct biblical interpretation of 1 John 3:9 our present position in Christ and our future position in Christ. I also appreciate Pastor Markles (out of necessity to refute an incorrect interpretation of Abraham’s descendents), fine and correct interpretation of the differences concerning Abraham’s descendents and the express usage of the Holy Spirit, “thy people,” phrase of Daniel 9:24 Paul the Apostle taught, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 Pastor Markle has rightly divided the word of truth and has correctly brought to our attention the spiritual, doctrinal, and prophetic differences of Isaiah 53, the work of Christ on the Cross for the Redemption of our Soul. And that Daniel 9:24-27 is dealing primarily with the, ‘children of Israel,’ and the coming Kingship of Christ upon the face of this earth, in Jerusalem, as, ‘KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORD’S,’ at the conclusion of the 7-year Tribulation Period. As Pastor Markle brought out Isaiah 53 and the prophesies of Daniel 9:24-27 are, “not specifically parallel or equivalent to one another.” Hopefully, his correct division of the scriptures will bear fruit and the incorrect interpretation of Daniel 9:24-27, and its relationship with the work of Christ in Isaiah 53, will cease. I am somewhat disappointed in the incorrect declarative assumption by Ian when he posted, “I would like to think that brings the debate to a close with virtually complete agreement…” Is that not the perogative of the judges or moderators? I am of the persuasion the statement was subterfuge and made due to his lack of being able to refute Pastor Markle. Pastor Markles contention that the 70 week is yet unfulfilled is the correct interpretation of Daniel 9:24-27 and I am looking forward to his further postings to prove that contention.
