Members Rosie Posted September 8, 2014 Members Posted September 8, 2014 oh my i hope it gets snowed out before it hits the states
Members John81 Posted September 8, 2014 Members Posted September 8, 2014 Yes, the snow can all stay north of the border! From the weather channel forecast it does look like a whole lot of that Canadian cold air will be coming into the States. It looks to cover over half the country, all of the Midwest, the Plains and much of the west on the east side of the Rockies and down into the Upper South and a little lower in places before moving on into the Northeast. It sounds like this will drop temps across most of the country, even the parts the really cold air doesn't reach.

Members 2bLikeJesus Posted September 9, 2014 Members Posted September 9, 2014 Snowing everywhere in AB, actually. If they're in the province, they already know. :-/ Rimbey has 5 inches. Back-to-school shopping at West Ed?!? They must be nuts! That's the craziest/busiest place there is. But then I'm not a mall person. To my daughter and sister, the Edmonton mall is better than Disneyland. They go up and spend 3 days in the Mall, and from what I understand (I have never gone myself) you can't cover the mall in only 3 days. I go into Canada every year to the Calgary Stampede (great fun) in July and visit the church in Red Deer.

That's at my home town - the visitors say it rivals the Calgary stampede.
Members 2bLikeJesus Posted September 9, 2014 Members Posted September 9, 2014 Yes! Isaac Bueckert's church! Our church has supported the Cook family as missionaries to Canada for over 20 years now. If I go up next July I will have to look them up and say hi!
