Music I enjoy, what do you think?

I have two songs that I love to listen to, both of them are not Christian musics like praising God or anything, but I like to listen to music like Classical and other songs to relax or enjoy the music. These 2 songs fall in that type, and its to me.... I havent found nothing wrong with it, first time I listen to them, I enjoyed it! The first song is called Sanctuary from Kingdom Hearts 2 (its a PS2 game, the song is the opening, and ending).

The other song is called One Winged Angel, from Final Fantasy 7 (the game), and it got remade for Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children (the movie). Its the theme song for the main bad guy in the game and movie, Sephiroth as the Anti Christ or Satan and Cloud is the Savoir, Jesus (I know, it has nothing to do with it, but Final Fantasy series was big on that, with religion, Square made Final Fantasy series, and here is the catch..... Kingdom Hearts series wasnt made by Disney, it was made by Square too, that is why the have Final Fantasy people in it, and Sephiroth is a secert but extremely hardest boss on the game). But the song just tells a life story of Sephiroth, in a weird way, doesnt tell the whole story on how he could have live a normal life but a man put an evil force's cells in the unborn child, and he was a great soldier when he grew up, but he got corrupted when the cells started to kick in. The song is sung in Latin (now how many songs do you know that sings in Latin lol).

I enjoy the songs, and I have people tell me its ok to listen to and others say its not. I know that One Winged Angel will go to Classical music to rock and back and forth, but its hard to explain, they made it that way to fit the story, so I want to know what others think about these songs!

The lyrics (especially to the last song) don't seem edifying at all. Personally, I'd trash that music.

Both of songs from games. Kingdom Hearts series talks about the darkness in every one's hearts. And if we let the darkness in out hearts to over come us, we become the shadow form of ourselfs. In Kingdom Hearts 2, if a person lets the darkness over come them, they come a Heartless, but say a strong hearted person becomes a Heartless,they leave their bodies behind and their body take time (the body is the "flesh" by Bible terms and heart is the "soul" by Bible terms). The first song talks about this 2 people that were the savior of the worlds (not world, but worlds..... you have to play to understand). And after being seperated from each other, they became sad because they figure they have lost each other, and became Heartless, but the love from each other gave both of their souls renewed, and they left their body behind (known as Nobodies in the game). Roxas is Sora's Nobody as........ I forgot the girl in white, but she is the Nobody of Kaira. When Bible says to crucifiy our flesh, in a way, that is what the game is trying to show, by going by whats in our hearts (soul) and not our bodies (flesh). When the song talks about more emotions, emotions do from the heart and soul, not by the flesh, and the Nobodies on the game are trying to collect hearts to have their own emotions. That is where is says they need more emotions, more feelings, more love.

Final Fantasy 7...... that will take some time to explain lol. Because that game became HUGE! All the series of that is Final Fantasy Crisis Core, Final Fantasy 7, and Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children, it became a big hit! Its best to google and wiki the information, but it will TAKE FOR EVER TO EXPLAIN! I know it seems I am defending the songs, in a way I am.. but I aint at the same time, just trying to explain to have a better idea what its about.

I am more into listen to the song because I see the song telling a story itself (it takes 1000 stories to tell one story) and these songs tell their part of the story, and both songs are in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.

Kitagirl is right I have both games and this isn't a Board to discuss is game. I like the idea Kingdom hearts is fighting against darkness but it's not something to discuss on a Baptist Board.

I've never watched them before and I didn't pay much attention to the music in the second one, but the fighting was pretty cool. :frog

I enjoy the games and the movie, Square took it beyond what other game companies could ever do, and making a game that include Disney in it (but Disney didnt make it, that caught many people off guard), Square is one of the leading companies, right next to Nintendo. Cant wait till Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out....... too bad, I havent heard no news on a Kingdom Heart movie yet........

Fantasy in most areas, yes, real in a few areas, but they try to Bible in it.... but not giving Bible verses, but by story. Its not like stuff straight from the Bible, but like..... a hidden message in the game you have to find, like the Kingdom Hearts story, about the heart being the soul and the body being the flesh, that kind of messages. Most of the Final Fantasy series is like a pokemon game, but more detail, and much harder. Its hard to explain lol. Only Final Fantasy Crystal Chorincals and Final Fatasny 11 and 12 are the only games that you can move and attack.

IMO fantasy or sci fi games or books that attempt to "use Biblical principles" are not really Biblical. The Bible is pure...and is not to be diluted with fantasy or other worldly things.

I know nothing about these games but the lyrics you posted, and that's enough for me to know that God would not be pleased with it being supposedly "Biblical".

Some would say its not right to bride some one to ride the church bus either (in other words, bus promotions) but I aint saying I am against it, I am for bus promotions, but I am saying, some things that seem like its wrong, isnt always wrong, but missed judged. Same thing that are right, that people think is right is 100% wrong (like taking an unborn child life away, they might not be born, but its still has life and a soul, and its against God law to take life).

What I am saying is..... in my secert heart that is connect to the Holy Spirit (saved by grace and so forth), I do not feel guilty nor do I feel wrong or judged by God for these. But that is me. That is bewteen me and God, what others take it is bewteen them and God. Now what I just said right there is Bible lol. But I really didnt want this to turn into something like an agrument.
