The poll wants me to enter an answer for each question... but I've never played an unusual/indigenous instrument. Maybe make a 'none of the above' category?

I put down 2 or more instruments, because I play the piano... and by default the keyboard & organ! ;) I also have a harp that I can kinda play. I love best playing for the impromptu hymn sings the young people will have at church. It's not an official service, so I don't feel any pressure to play well & can improvise as much as I like, and can our guys ever sing!

I had a few piano lessons as a child, but my older brother gave up & discouraged me. I did learn the treble clef, & bought the music hymnbooks used by the church. When my children were interested in music, I took them to a Saturday morning music school, & parents were encouraged to stay, so we had a four part recorder group. I studied classical guitar there.

When the church organist left, my treble recorder was the only instrument & at that time (as I retired) I decided to learn the piano, so bought a keyboard & enrolled for lessons & a choir, both run by the Adult Education dept. Happily the keyboard class was learningmelody & chords, & playing the church electronic organ for congregational singing, that has proved adequate.

I use the keyboard with "chapel organ" register for the church, & that works well. The piano doesn't sound right with melody & chords.

The church gave me money for long service, & I bought an Indian harmonium for use with Indian songs.

My latest instrument is a harmonica.

I didn't vote in the poll. Mostly I play while driving but, sometimes at home. The only thing I play is traditional Christian hymns. I play a radio and I'm really very good at it.

Saylan, I thought about choosing two for the same reasons because if you play the piano, technically, you can play the organ. lol I think I even have once for a special...
Anywho. I'm the pianist for our church. Have been for 13 years now. :-) It's definitely the heart of my ministry.
