Prayer request-house sale

[1John2:15-17]

As we all probably know the housing market has been bad since 2008. However, God has hear my wife's (and my) prayers to move back toward family. We put our house on the market a little over 6 weeks ago (after all tornado repairs were complete), and The Lord sent us a buyer earlier this week who made an offer and we now have a contract. Of course the buyer has to do an inspection, appraisal, etc., but the house is only 5 years old (we purchased it as new construction) and we are selling it for what we bought it for.

Now we have to make a trip to our desired new home in Cuyahoga County in Ohio. We've been doing some research for the past 2 years, visited some places outside of Columbus in the past, and will now look at a different area, one that will put us about 2 hours from my wife's mom and kids and grandchild.

Please pray that 1) that our house closes without any glitches on October 17, and 2) that when we drive out to Ohio next weekend we will find a suitable/affordable home to rent.

We will only be in Ohio for 2-3 days, but I already have spoken to 2 different realtors who are willing to show us some homes for rent. I already have one list of properties that was sent to me that I've reviewed, waiting for a list from the other realtor.

I know God is aware of everything in this process, including my crazy schedule - I fly home from my job next Friday, then grab my wife and dog and drive to Ohio (from SW MO), drive home Wednesday, fly back to my job in Texas. Fortunately I have enough vacation time to get us moved and settled in before I fly out again.

Also, I've been made aware of 2 different IFB churches in close proximity (within 20 minutes or so) of our desired new home....my pastor knows one of the pastors in the area.

Update-trip to Ohio was a success, found a home to rent. Now waiting for closing day.

Gonna miss my current church, but know He will lead us to another good church/family. Looking forward to going up to Cleveland Baptist Church to hear Bro. Folger.

Update--house appraised OK......just waiting for closing day October 28th.
