Administrators Pastor Matt Posted June 3, 2011 Administrators Share Posted June 3, 2011 Did your church do anything special to celebrate the 400th birthday of the KJV? I've heard of a few churches that did, and I was wondering if your church did anything to honor the day.

Moderators Salyan Posted June 3, 2011 Moderators Share Posted June 3, 2011 We announced it, but that was about it. Our energies are mostly going toward the Pastor's Coference in September, with the theme being the 400th Anniversary.
Members John81
We acknowledged it and touched on it's endurance but not much beyond that.

Members farouk
I think it's good to be thankful for God's providential blessings and the King James is certainly part of this. Very much so. Not sure that the King James is strictly a norm for fellowship: after all, some KJ readers believe in baby sprinkling and others in baptismal immersion as a symbol.
