And remember, the lost man does not believe the Bible is God's Word to mankind, that in it self changes his logic.

Ro 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Yet they will not have an excuse when they face the 'Great White Throne.'

Remember that one can be lost and still hold the belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. I know of many who do admit that the Bible is the Word of God but are just as lost. You are correct that they will have no excuse.
