About a week and a half ago the custodian for our church/Christian school suffered two strokes and has been hospitalized in CCU ever since. From what I understand the gentleman is fairly young (I have never met him). I think he has a teenage/pre-teen aged daughter. His family is going through a very terrible time right now and our church is in a lot of prayer for him and his family. He has brain damage and is extremely limited in any response he gives. If I understand correctly the MRI shows very little brain functionality. It looks as though the family is considering removing him from life-support. Whatever their decision please be in prayer for him. and his family. I could not imagine going through it but I do pray the Lord keeps his family strong through this. My heart goes out to them.

Precious Jesus, help this family in such a difficult situation, please guide them to do your will and give them the comfort that can only come through Your precious Holy Spirit.

In Your Name Christ Jesus Amen.

I hear that Mickey (the custodian) is beginning to be more responsive, opening his eyes more, and completely off the breathing machine! Praise the Lord! I hope to hear more good news tomorrow prOBably at evening service but please do continue to remember him and his family in your prayers!
