Your comment about Amarillo is pretty funny. I've heard they grow bumper crops of tumbleweeds in that area! I guess that's a good place to train Air Force pilots--fewer tall trees and mountains mean fewer OBstacles into which pilot trainees can fly their planes!

Being as you mentioned tumbleweeds perhaps you or someone else would be interested in buying some tumbleweeds.

Out of curiosity, I did a Google search and you are quite right!! There is indeed a Prairie Tumbleweed Farm and they even have a web site. They say that they ship tumbleweeds worldwide! Now I truly have seen everything! Why on earth would anyone actually buy a tumbleweed???

Perhaps I should move to Amarillo and start a tumbleweed farm!

The web site says they test every tumbleweed before they ship it out, to make sure it tumbles. This site really tickled my funny bone. I thank you for bringing it to my attention! Perhaps if I move to Amarillo I can just collect wild tumbleweeds (rather than the "domestic tumbleweeds" that this farm produces) and sell them at a bargain price. Actually, I now sound like I am being flippant and disrespectful to this merchant and I really don't mean to be. It's amusing but I don't mean to be mean-spirited about it.

Perhaps they are supplying movie makers who are working on Western movies........or supplying interior designers...........etc.

That actually makes a lot of sense. After all, what is a Western movie without tumbleweeds? And you have to get those things from somewhere!
