Thank you all for your prayers. They are a great comfort.

Due to Timmy's actions we won't be able to have the home visit this week and the mini-family vacation we had planned. The consequences of his actions will likely mean we won't be able to have any time with him away from the school until next year.

This is a Christian boarding school and they school year round, taking two week breaks at different times, such as around Memorial Day, Independence Day, Christmas, etc.

Even so, as it stands it will prOBably be another year before he can have an off-campus visit (due to their rules and our schedual) and then several more months before he will be able to have a home visit.

I'm concerned that once he reaches legal age he will walk away from this before he graduates and with his heart set on evil, I know where that will lead. While I know everyone needs Jesus, this child of ours needs Jesus now because his heart is so bent toward evil that he's likely to end up in prison if he's not in Christ before he leaves that school.

John, I just now saw this thread - I wasn't online at all over the last 4 days. I am so sorry this happened!! Something Tim doesn't realize yet is that God is continuing to show him mercy. So many things could've gone wrong during the run. I'm thankful he was caught! PrOBation is a start, and even though he looks at it as an adventure, having to report monthly to a prOBation officer may start wearing on him.
