God's Direction In School (Not So Good)

Everyday as I walk into my school. I look through the halls, as I see kids I grew up with starting to conform to the world. Some dress all black, many dress like like thugs, and none dress like a Christian. No one acts like a Christian. No, not one.Standing on this Solid Rock isn't as easy as I thought it would be. I was just recently saved, and I thought leading others to the Lord would be easy. But it wasn't. Turns out this year of school, a good percentage of kids turn to atheism for there answers. These are my old best friends. It grows like a wild fire. Oh I hope and pray Christianity can spread like a wildfire. They all despise me and call me names, but I understand that they don't really mean it. They are just acting immature. The worst thing about my school, is its constant love for music. Loved by students, teachers, and even the principal which held a rock concert as a convocation earlier this year. I have been on the constant war to save souls, and only one in my whole school let me lead them to Christ. I handed out over a hundred tracts, and nothing is working. My burden to save souls is just gone. My best friend I will ever have told me on the bus "Hey, I can't go to church anymore, I lack belief." he then laughed as I smiled out of the agony that just entered my body. A verse popped in my head days later when one of my teachers put a Koran verse up on the board as the thought of the day. In Genesis, Joseph "Got him out". Those are the three words I remember. I feel that this is from the Spirit, but Satan is a deciever, so just pray for the Lord's direction in this area. Homeschooling, or Staying put, I will stand for him.

I am encouraged by your insistence upon standing firm on God's Word and in the faith He has given you in the face of such discouraging circumstances. I went to public school in the 90's (until a man offered to pay my way through Christian school) and it was not easy to be a Christian even then. I can only imagine the difficulties you must face in our day.

I will pray that the Lord will guide you, protect you, and provide all your needs according to His riches in Glory by His good grace. :pray

Thank you so much for your prayers for me. This is so discouraging. I go back tomorrow and I cant explain how nervous I am.

Continue to show forth the grace of God and be obedient to His Word and leave the results up to Him. Do not lose your burden for your classmates: if they ever needed to see God's grace at work, it is now. :thumb

Hang in there. I know how tough it is. I attended high populated public school myself (even though I lived out in the rural area. If I lived just one more mile from where I live, I would have live in a different county with a smaller populated school)

My best advice is to live for Christ. They heard the gospel so just leave it to that. When you set good example and they see how pure and happy you are, they want to know more about Jesus. They will come to you.

My best friend did this (She also made straight A's too. In fact, she did everything her best without boasting) and alot of people want to know more about her. She was and still is an IFB.

You will be in my prayers. :pray
Remember this, too: I don't mean to be discouraging, but, every time we try to do something from the Lord, we will face opposition from our adversary, the Devil, and his minions.

Stay strong in the Lord; He will never leave you, nor forsake you. :wink I think this verse may offer you some encouragement: Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
God bless,
Crushmaster.

Amen to that.

I preached a New Year's Eve message this year from [bible]Hebrews 13[/bible]. It was my goal to encourage Christians of all ages and all stages of life that outside the camp with Christ is the most proper place for any Christian to be.

Keep moving forward for the Lord and never take your eyes from him. I am moved by your witness and wish more were faithful to try to reach souls. I and many others here have been in hard places as you are, just different ones. Glad your here and may the Lord bless you and lead you.

:amen: You know, Paul mentions longsuffering many times. Everyone in the Bible faced trials and tribulations. Many have faced death for God. Also remember, Jesus Christ didn't have it easy. He was born without money riches, he was arrested for "Blasphemy", and he hung on the cross.

Continue to stand firm in Christ. Remember also, it's our duty to share the Gospel, then it's up to those who heard the Gospel as to whether they accept or reject the work of the Holy Ghost.

Separation is very important. The Lord will provide the means for you to get out of that ungodly school.

Praying for you :pray
