We see what Trijicon is doing for money. However they are a corporation not individuals with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior.

Trijicon of Wixom, Mich., says it is also providing to the armed forces free of charge modification kits to remove the Scripture citations from the telescoping sights already in use. Through multimillion dollar contracts, the Marine Corps and Army have bought more than 300,000 Trijicon sights.

However, when you are told to remove your personal reference to Jesus from your sight what will you do?

I've thought long and hard along these lines. Being on Medicare I'm concerned we could be "persuaded" to accept a chip with our medical information. That would cost me, by refusing the chip, life maintaining treatment and I'm settled I will say no! This would also be a compromise concerning the LORD. I'm in no way perfect and make mistakes but when I know they are wanting me to give up my right to post scripture, not talk to people about the Lord, etc. I have complete peace. In the Lord's strenghth, I will stand and I will NOT BUDGE if it mean's my life! Humbled that I'm His by Grace

I just happened to be reading Acts 6 today. Tomorrow I'll read about Stephen's martyrdom. Stephen was 1 of 7 men chosen by the multitude to be appointed (deacons) over the "business" "ministration" for believers. They were appointed to insure the care of the believers was equally distributed:
6:3-5
he was "of honest report"
he was "full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom"
he was "a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost"
6:6 he was commissioned by the Apostles
"and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them."
6:8
"And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people."

Paul (Saul) witnessed the martyrdom of Stephen. Is this what he means by "be strong" in the verses below?
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
2 Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Does Paul mean by "strong" the following?
"of honest report"
"full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom"
"a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost"
"full of faith and power"

That corporation is run by people who made a choice to remove the Scripture references which they recently were standing by.

Years ago when I was attending university and living in a dorm setting I was confronted by some about my Christian paintings. I had a friend paint some scenery and had him put Bible verses on them. I hung these all around my area. Some didn't like it but I refused to remove them and proclaimed that I believed what each of them said.

Quite clearly, that corporation put money ahead of God, quickly saying they would not put the Holy Scriptures on any more rifles, and send out repairs so they could take the Holy Scriptures off the rifles they had already sold. Or I could say, they did not feel it was worth taking a stand for when confronted over it.

The god of money won this one.

Just a note, the founder of the company, the man who decided to put the reference on each scope in the first place, was killed four or five years ago. I doubt he would have caved so quickly and easily were he still alive.
