There was a report on the news about a week ago that over 60% of chickens sold in the UK are infected with a bug that can caused food poisoning. It said that some other countries have higher percentages.

When we have a church lunch the family who organize it always do a roast lunch, usually roast chicken but last time roast beef. I asked them it they always had a roast lunch on Sundays and they said "Yes." I rarely do a roast as my wife is a vegetarian and it is very difficult doing a roast lunch for one.
