Good advice. I do have one problem with almost all Church's. They do not teach the Whole council of God. You do not hold the laborers wages overnight. That's in Deuteronomy and in James. That's never brought up. In fact in these Church's have laborers they hold wages back on for weeks. That's crushing the poor. God hears their cry's. The Bible says it. You want to know why church's have so much trouble. Gods over all. The powers are ordained of Him. I watch so many "Happy" Christians walk into places like Chick Fil A. Just so glad to meet one another. How about the people behind the counter? Restaurant work is hard labor. I don't like that's what you agree…

Reports are flooding in across the globe, claiming Pope Francis has performed a miracle. The Cardinal of Naples called it a miracle when a vial of blood suddenly became liquid in the pope's presence. Is this deserving of "miracle" status? Watch the video and sound off. Last week, Creflo Dollar announced that his current air transport had to be retired due to mechanical errors. He issued a plea for 200,000 of his followers and supporters to send him at least $300 each so he could purchase a Gulfstream G650. Interesting that there is another G650 than the Gulfstream...

Finally, I'm getting around to reading 'Living Your Faith', by Charles Finney. It is a good read for all of us who need encouragement, during these times, to "keep himself unspotted from the world."

A bill that hasn't been and never will be offered for the consideration of the members of the Congress of the United States of America. Two hundred years plus have passed since since such ideas contained in the constitution were considered relevant to the human condition. No . . . . never happen.

It would be great if every child could go to a Christian school or be Home schooled but unfortunately that is not the case in the real world, the way the world is today. We all know the public and many private schools are not teaching the kids right from wrong but it goes beyond that. The wonderful new Common Core that you have heard about was picked straight out of Satan's tool box. http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2015/03/02/why-our-children-dont-think-there-are-moral-facts/?_r=1 Another fellow says: "The idea that children as young as five are going to be some sort of Christian missionary light unto the pagans in public school was always an abysmally stupid one…

Get the U-haul trucks ready because Online Baptist is moving. Don't worry we are not moving far. As you know the location of Online Baptist is located like this http://www.onlinebaptist.com/home in a home folder. All I will be doing is moving the site from the home folder in the root directory like this http://www.onlinebaptist.com. I'll let you know before I do this so that you can update any bookmarks you may have.

North Korea, and next Iran! Do sanctions work? Do agreements work with belligerents? Korea had been on a steady diet of sanctions longer than I can remember. However, sometime in the late 90s they exploded a nuclear weapon. In the early 00s they were recognized as having sufficient fissile material for as many as 8 plutonium based nuclear weapons. Hey, they already put a satellite in space so, we know they have the ability to deliver nukes anywhere in the world. I found the following on Wiki (I sure would like a better source) and added the underlining for emphasis: The negotiators successfully reached the U.S.-North Korea Agreed Framework in October 1994 (Pres. Clinton s…

@Pastor Scott Markle & @Covenanter Seeing now I have more time, I am willing to set up a forum for discussion on Prophecy. If you both agree to this, what type of format and restrictions would you like applied to this forum for your discussion.

I saw your original post a mere minute or two after you posted it and it was locked. I thought it strange that you would lock it immediately when you were asking for opinions. I however assumed it was a bug with the new system rather than automatically thinking someone had locked it without explanation. MOST OF THE TIME when a thread is locked there is explanation. Since you have unlocked it and HC (?) Has unlocked it and it remains locked still, I suggest you ask Matt to look into it.

"And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." Galatians 3:29 What do you understand this to mean? How narrow, broad, general or specific is this? What does this mean for individual Christians and for Christians overall?

This book was written by a friend of mine and he does an excellent job in explaining how tradition has made its way into our baptist churches. While I do not agree with him on a few things, I did find my self revaluation a few things in my ministry and asking myself "Why am I doing what I am doing". It is a good read. http://fortheloveofthefamily.com/bookstore/travis-burke/

The greatest problem we have in all nations is that government believes it is the nation with sovereignty when in fact the sovereignty belongs to the people. So governments rise and fall. What is left behind is the social structure and culture of the people – not the designs of government. What remains of government are merely the relics of their glory. Such mighty giants have all fallen with their institutions lying in rubble. The seat of power in so many governments is only the spectacle for tourists today as this one in Crete. The only thing to survive time and circumstance is human nature, our customs, nurturing, and our love of our posterity, which is passed on from…
