Yes, ME first. WE, second, including you. I'm just as guilty as anyone else. Does Satan have us just where he wants us? Shake your head yes. This is where our concern should be... http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=7041036&page=1 "According to the poll, which came out today, the percentage of Americans who define themselves as Christian has dropped from 86 percent in 1990 to 76 percent in 2008." American Religious Identification Survey 2008 http://www.americanreligionsurvey-aris.org "The percentage of Americans claiming no religion, which jumped from 8.2 in 1990 to 14.2 in 2001, has now increased to 15 percent." With the rise in state surveillance equipment, I was wondering how people felt about it. Is there a possible threat to liberty, or should only criminals fear it?

Hi all, Over the last 12 months, I've changed a lot of things. I had a rebellious, wild debauched lifestyle, smoked dope, messed with girls, hung out with the wrong crowd! All that has changed - my conversion has meant putting all those things away, and becoming a new creation. It's not as if those things ever made me really happy anyway. In fact, do they make anyone happy? But it has led to the accusation from old friends that I have lost my personality and my uniqeness. Maybe my huge change of appearance recently has partly led to that conclusion. Yet surely, if those things were part of my old personailty, I must be far better off without them. If we're "new" t…

...but I have been busy with college work and learning Dutch. I have been using a website called Mochalive. It is FREE and a good time. I don't like Rosetta Stone so much even though the program itself is much better. With Mochalive you have a social network where real people who speak the language you are learning grade your work. You make friends and then chat with them. There is no better way to learn a language than that. As you can tell, I am slightly addicted. If anyone is intrested let me know.

I use to play paintball and even referee'd. I loved the sport and bought all my own equipment. One thing I looked forward to was playing with those in the military when I decided to join. I have now been in the Air Force for 4 years and have only gotten to play 1 time! How did this happen? I never thought that would happen. I need to get back into the sport again. Anyone else out there in "OB World" play or ref. paintball?

Fox News just showed a preview cover of Golf magazine. It was done before the Tiger Woods "incident". The cover shows Tiger hovering over OBama as he line up a putt and the title reads: "Ten things OBama can learn from Tiger Woods" Gotta love it!

Please shut any of my threads down (close) if they ever go the direction of the "Judas" thread. Also, if I ever post something you deem questionable, delete it and/or PM me with it as time permits with the part we need to discuss. If I'm wrong in a thread then, I want to get right and as quickly as possible. I do not want to become a stumblingblock to a brother or a sister. By God's further grace I won't take offense to loving correction.

I have spoken to my church leader on this issue. He hasn't tried to foce it, or put undue pressure on me, but I've felt the conviction that I do need a short haircut. Seems to me biblical. And also I'd like to go for it, as a symbolic thing. No longer a teenage rebel! What do you think?

This cat was outside our door and seemed hungry so we fed it. It has come back ever since. We now have it inside. It is declawed. We are looking for the owners but today we noticed that she had something white on her hind in. It looked like mozzerella cheese. Well before I could take it off and examine it, the dog ate it. After awhile, she had another on her hind in. Well, she finally went poop and we examined it and found a white worm moving in it. It was a little larger than a maggot. Does anyone know what types of worms these are? We are taking her in to the vet tomorrow.

Most people began their Christmas shopping the day after Thanksgiving, or midnight of Thanksgiving (like me :icon_biggrin:). I still have more Christmas shopping to do as I am on my way to Kohls for myself . You can save a lot of money with those after Thanksgiving sales but it's prOBably wiser to do your shopping before Christmas season to avoid the hassle. Are you finished? Love, Madeline
