God's Providential care for His children is something to be very thankful for in these last days we're living in. The Muslims, Hindus, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, the Buddhists, and all other peoples outside of Jesus Christ can not claim this personal peace that He gives to each one of us! John 14:27 says, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." The world does not know Him and never will because they are in rebellion against God. See I John 2:15-17. But God's people whether they are Baptists, Presbyterians, Methodists, etc., know Him and can have His pe…

Jesus Christ is the One all Christians should exalt in our daily lives! Colossians 1:18 says, And He is the head of the body, the church; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the pre-eminence."

I praise God for His love toward me by the Lord Jesus Christ through His death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead! Jesus Christ needs to be shared with everyone who know Him as Lord and Savior.

A couple months ago, three kids (a 13 year old boy, a 10 yo girl, and an 8 yo boy) from a family that is friends with ours started riding the bus to church. After a couple weeks, there mom got upset with something at our church so they quit coming for a while. Three weeks ago I went to visit them and they decided to ride the bus again. Last week, the 13 year old boy asked our youth pastor about salvation and ended up getting saved. Last night, the 10 year old girl asked the Lord to save her. Thank God that He still saves sinners.

I need to go to a store tonight and thought I would fill up our van with gas while out. We always pay with cash, and I had the gas money in my wallet. I filled up, and started walking to the station and realized I didn't have my wallet in my pocket. :-S :puzzled: I went inside and told the cashier my mistake and asked her what I needed to do. She said that they normally have to call the police to deal with this. I said I understood, and she just looked shocked that I was so obliging to her. She asked to see my licence, but then realized it was in my wallet and had me write my name, address and phone number on a paper. She said I looked and sounded trustworthy a…

Tonight, my nephew went forward for invitation and let the church family know that he has been doubting his salvation for several years. On Tuesday evening he made the decision to trust Christ as Saviour and has gotten rid of all the doubts. He was also baptized this evening.

I'm just sooo happy that we're going on a little vacation tomorrow! I so need to get away for a few days! We'll be leaving a little early and taking a train to Beijing, and then we will return on Monday. :praise: We'll have our laptop with us, so I hope to check in now and then. This trip is more for relaxing than seeing great sites.

Some of you here have been praying for me and my family regarding conflict in our home regarding Church. Many at our Church have been praying for us as well. Last Wednesday night I went to prayer meeting for the first time in a while, and it was very humbling as many of the people there prayed for us out loud. This Sunday morning, out of nowhere; my wife got up and asked to begin "Discipleship 1" which is a big step in getting established in the Church. The basic concept is to establish a foundation in the doctrine of the Church, and accomplish a like-mindedness with the other believers. Today for the first time since going to this Church, my wife told me it was a …

Within the past couple of weeks the Lord has showed Himself mighty on behalf of three area people who our church (and others) have been praying for. All three were facing severe medical situations. All three had different problems and were seeing different doctors. All three were told how bad their situation was and how they would not fully recover or would have to go through months or years of pain before some results might be seen. In all three cases the Lord has brought about miraculous healing! All three doctors told their patients they have no idea how or why they have recovered so swiftly and fully. One doctor even told his patient that according to everything t…

I was at sweetwater today and figured all was lost as for getting back in time for fbi class figured I'd just have to check out the dvd, but I get a call to go to work at 1020 this morning on a good train instead of one of the junkers I thought I was going to end up on, anyhow we make this screamin trip from sweetwater to fort worth and I pull up at the church with 10 min to spare, If God wasn't in it I wouldn't have made it. I have made all 4 classes so far and thats just outstanding for my line of work. God has really blessed me in this area. thanks for your t…

I was working today on fixing a leaking toilet at home and had to run downstairs to get a tool. I left the child gate open at the top of the stairs when I came back up. I asked Nathaniel to play with Jonathan while I worked on the toilet, and he told me that Grammy (my wife's mom who is visiting for the weekend) was watching him. It turns out that Grammy was washing some dishes and was not informed that she was to be watching Jonathan. Next thing you know, we all hear lots of thumping noises, followed by a SCREAM. Jonathan fell down the stairs! Thank the Lord that is just scared him more than hurt him. I will definitely be closing that gate always, now.

Ephesians 5:22 says, "Redeeming the time, for the days are evil." Our time is very short! This presidential election could be the last one in a free society. The main point is work now for Jesus Christ is coming very soon for our present dispensational age is characterized by an acceleration of evil and lawlessness. Praise God for His Son is coming very soon!

We have a church member who is in jail (for what, I don't know - it is for something he did before he joined our church). Since he has been in there, about 2 weeks now, he has led 3 people to Christ. He, himself, is a new Christian and had been attending our RU program for almost 1 year. He is released on Fridays to be able to attend RU where we get his updates from. He has people in jail asking him what he has for them from the Bible every day. Our RU director calls him "Our missionary in the jail".

I look on how God has answered prayers I have made in my past. I look at my life and see God working on me. I know recently I wrote a post that was titled Joking can lead to tears. I have been not watching what I have been saying and I know I have hurt many people and feel so bad. I think that joking can be ok if it doesn't go against the bible and that has been one answer to many prayers. God answers so much prayer that he should be exalted so much and I don't thank him enough. God has answered so many prayers these last few weeks that I can't complain. God has shown me so much too. God is so good and I am glad he can answer prayer.

This may seem milk to some, and I am glad. But I reached a point in my Christian life, that I will respond to the question "what do you do for a living" different. You see, when people would ask "what do you do?" implying, what is my work, I would respond with my walk with God, because they asked "what do you do?" I always figured though, if they asked "what do you do for a living" I would tell them how I bring in income. Ha ha ha... inwardly, I give everything to God, and a conversation with someone on MSN latly made me do a BIG self audit, and put me in the mindset of what else I don't have 100% to God. This is one. I may get pay checks from publishers, from…

My name is Kyle. I will be 18 coming up here in May. The Lord saved me when I was 16 years old. A year and 4 months ago the Lord saved my soul. And Glory to God! I was raised in church my whole life. I thought I was saved from my old pastor many years ago leading me in a prayer. But I didnt get born again. Just a year and a half ago I didnt even believe in God. I was still going to church, but didnt believe in God at all. I was what you call an emo kid. I was listening to all kinds of punk rock music and heavy metal. I wanted to kill myself back then. But praise God I dont now! I didnt have any faith in God at all. I believed in evolution, which took the l…

Praise the Lord. :smile He blessed me with a job offer in Pennsylvania. It's not close enough that I'd be able to attend the church Suzy's husband pastors, but I know of another really good church I would be able to attend in the area. This will be my first job after college, and I'll be a lot closer to my fiance Rachel, so I'll be able to see her semi-regularly until we get married, and then we won't be too far from her family. It's a job doing software engineering a lighting company. I'm going to visit the area this weekend to look for a place to live and visit the church, and then I'll move there the first week of February and start shortly thereafter! I started lo…
