Howdy! I'm Charlie Boyd in Wichita, KS. I was previously on here as Charbo. As a result of losing my jOB about a year ago I had to cut internet at the house. However jOB searching at the library was rather tedious and now I have the net connected again (I think I'm prOBably saving gas too.) The prOBlem however was that I could not remember my password and the email account I had then is inactive, so I had to re-register. I'm prOBably friends with many of you on Facebook.

Introducing Wm. Pinard My name is William Pinard. My last name is french/latin. In French 'pinar' is a common word for wine; the wine that lays in the barrel just below the spigot. In Latin, a 'pinar' was the lowest denomination coin minted by Rome, a 1/4 penny made of copper. My forefathers immigrated from French Quebec before and then after the civil war to San Jose, CA. So when people find out that I wrote a book, especially when they find out it's a commentary on Revelation, they jump to a couple of conclusions. First, that I'm really smart. Good Saturday evening! I am new to this forum, and so very thankful to have found it. It is such a blessing to be able to interact with other like-minded people. I reside in north Texas (where it is nice and toasty just now!). I work as a legal secretary, never married, and enjoy a quiet life with my two naughty little cats. Hello to everyone, My name is Nick. I am 17 years old and I live in Florida. I am in my final year of high school where I participate in ROTC and music as well as other basic classes. Greetings to all the blood washed saints of this board and others who may come across this post. I have been Independent Baptist since 2007 and growing in the Lord. I view the King James Bible as the word of God without question or apology. I hold to a pre-millennial dispensational viewpoint and believe in modest dress and separation from the world as best we can. We just had the Whisnants come to our church on Easter and in May 21 we will have the Primitive Quartet coming. I look forward to this. I became Episcopalian in college and have been ever since. I am saved by grace through faith. Hello Brother and sisters, I am a 32yr old guy living in California. I was led to the lord in 2000 by my friend chuck. I have been on fire and luke warm at best. I am currently lukewarm to downright cold. I have not been right since i came back from the war in 2006. It rattled my faith. Then i just have a hard time believing some of the things in the bible. Hello, everyone! I've been lurking for a bit, but I haven't properly introduced myself yet. I'm an independent fundamental Baptist from North Georgia. I have a wonderful husband and a precious son. I'm a housewife, home schooling mother. I am so happy to have found this site. I have the worst time finding places online to fellowship and discuss Baptist doctrine in a safe environment. Even on other sites that profess to be "Christian-based" I have been belittled and questioned and had my walk with Christ attacked for being a fundamentalist Christian. Many years ago I came across a sermon an IB preacher named Gary Dice when he visited Australia, and from memory he was preaching on this passage, or at least referencing it. He sang a slightly silly song about this section of Romans 7, but I have never been able to find any reference to it anywhere else. I would appreciate it if anyone has heard of it and could give me a reference or link to it, or best case, the sheet music. I know there are many songs that come up when you do a google search, but none of them have been the one I am looking for. It has the words almost direct from the KJV, not just something loosely based on that text. Thanks folks. -

I also noticed he seems quieter, perhaps more humble this time. But even last time I had come to view his particular tendency to boast as just having an immensely positive attitude. He's also careful to thank others and to offer credit where credit is due, while having no compunctions about calling out anyone who deserves none. -

Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh?
