Almost caught in a dangerous net

This is a praise report as well as prayer request for myself and my family. In the past few months I got interested in a complicated practice which in many cases seems to be harmless and could supposedly be explained in a natural and "scientific" way. I was still skeptical and decided to investigate it more thoroughly. The problem is that even though I hadn't actually done the practice, I believe I was to some extent influenced by it and its philosophies.

The good news is I found the truth on the practice, and it is in reality a demonic practice cunningly disguised as a natural and healthy practice. So praise God I was able to find out the answer to this mystery. But I would like you to pray that God would get rid of any influence the practice or its philosophy might have had on me or my family. For the time being, I'm not sure I want to say what the practice is, but I might tell later if it's important. Thanks.

Praise the Lord He showed you the truth! Many "natural" methods and philosophies have demonic influence and background...its amazing how deceitful Satan can be.

Perhaps you should share what this is all about that others may be made wise? I know about these things, too. We use alot of herbal remedies and you have to watch out for the New Age fake and even demonic stuff. Please prayerfully consider sharing so others who use things without questioning their hidden agenda can know the truth and be kept from the enemies deceptive ways.

Thanks guys. I found that what I've learned has helped me understand a few other things that were seemingly unrelated and help someone else: my sister. She has had weird things happen to her for about 10 years. While things have gotten better after I talked to her and prayed with her last night, she still needs prayer. In a sense, this has nothing to do with the practice I described in my first post, but on the other hand, it has the same spiritual source. Sorry for being so vague; perhaps I'll explain better a bit later.
