I hope that Christian newbies are also allowed to vote. I'm tempted to give my vote to Matthew Henry because I've read some 'bits' of his commentary but then I'm also aware that he's wrong on prophetic interpretations. Therefore, I vote for him but mainly for his OT commentaries.

Jasmyne.... you are welcomed to vote! I voted for Ironside but it's hard to vote against Matthew Henry. His commentary set was the first thing given to me when I became a Christian (1984). The pastor whom I was saved under saw that I would be studying the Word and he was gracious enough to buy me the set when I knew absolutely nothing! The hard thing about having a favorite commentary is that you must choose between devotional and expositional style. Both have their blessings.

I don't use commentaries all that often these days but I voted for Ironside.
