Been ill

Can you all pray for me to get better? I been under the weather all week not sure what's going on. Please pray I can soon go into the doctors to see what's going on. Some of my friends thinks I am expecting but pray for that also.
I might be stressed from another board because I am defending Gods word and they think I am judging and I been worried if i miss another church service I am not a Christian.

Karrie - church attendance or lack thereof does not make us a Christian. It doesn't even make us a good one! Don't get me wrong - we need church. We need the fellowship, we need the preaching, etc. But when you are sick, sometimes it's best not to go to church.

If you aren't feeling well, maybe it would be best to stay off that other board? Eliminate stress that way, and maybe you'll feel a bit better (and if you are expecting - hope, hope! - the less stress the better).

As far as not being a Christian due to church attenedence, don't let it get to you. Church may be important but remember this, going there when sick is greedy. You would go to get what you need but at the expence of others. How many others will get sick if you went? How many people would a sick person distract during the message? All I am trying to say is that you are making the right decision by staying home.

praying that you will get to feeling better.

Don't feel bad about missing church because of sickness. I've told my fellow church members many times when preaching that if they're sick to stay home because I don't want it. Get yourself better that way when you get back to church you'll be able to devote your entire attention to the service.
