The article about the baby that was cut out of the mother and then recently they found the criminals...

They keep saying "fetus"....it was an 8 mos gestation BABY that was found ALIVE and in relatively good health!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What's with "fetus"?????

I don't know what's with that word, but I don't care for it, the word baby ought to be used.

Perhaps that word was invented for those who do abortions, perhaps using that word instead of baby removes the thought of muder from their mind when they do abortions.

I think you're exactly right, Jerry. It dehumanizes the child so it isn't so terrible to rip it from the womb.

Then, they will probably only charge the man for murdering the mother not, for the multitude of charges for the child...so sad.

In the past, if a man kills a woman and the child dies, it's been double murder. Isn't that ironic? It is considered murder if he does it because the woman wasn't seeking abortion. I remember a case like that not to many years ago. Talk about a double standard!

Seems it depends on what the DA wants to do which name they use. With Stacy Peters I believe they used the word baby, probably because they wanted two murder charges against her husband to get him more time in prison being as California hasn't carried out capital punishment against convicted murderers in years.

Maybe they think, you can't murder the baby if they call it a fetus, but if they call it a baby it can be murdered.

The same people that calls a baby fetus are the ones that are ok with woman preachers. I am on another board and I am getting riducled for saying that woman should not be preachers but, I don't want to hijack this thread about woman preachers but, just a thought .
