I hate spicy foods, so now I know what they makes me, as least in the eyes of some people.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Romans 1:22 (KJV)

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

1 Cor 3:18-19 (KJV)

John posted it ages ago. It's not being brought up again, it's just that if anyone leaves a comment on the page then it updates the date of the article. It's still from back in July.

Or maybe telegraph.co.uk just got this late. Anyways, I like spicey foods, but there are other foods that I don't like. Am I still racist in their opinion?

Does it ever occur to these people that did the research that some spicy food burns people mouth? It does to me, and it upsets my stomach. I think some people have the genetic trait to handle spicy food well. But I really can't. I just made a delicious southwestern spaghetti tonight. It required regular taco mix. While I thought it was very YUMMY, I had to get some milk and bread to get the spicy stuff make it stop burning my mouth. My hubby and son couldn't really tolerate it either.. not because of the taste, but because it BURNS!

I heard people react different way when it come to hot sauce. some can handle it with no problem, other have runny nose and eyes (which I do when I eat hot sauce), some sneeze, and some face turn red or sweat, and some develop some health problem (I believe it is shock, but I can't remember) ... and they worry about spicy food is a sign of racism????

Well, it's just that people lack uncommon sense these days (it's not common anymore). For me, I can feel the burn in moderately to very spicey dishes, but I can handle it most of the time without any problems. My mom can't handle anything than the mildest of dishes; her mouth burns with dishes in which I can't feel the pepper at all.

One thing I do think is that children must be taught good manners. It is rude for a child tell his mom that he doesn't like her dish. And that what people did in the o' days. They would tell their kids to "finish up their plate" or spank for rudeness or for making a comment about people's cooking/food -- but it certainly did not help them not to be racist though

The smell of an onion makes my stomach very nauseated. The taste of an onion makes my stomach want to empty itself like right now. Its been that way every since I can remember.

I hated onions too since I was a little girl. When I eat it, I get that gag reflex that prevent me from swallowing it.

My older sister tried to make me eat a big bowl of onions because I didn't like them.. I was unable to eat it, even for a treat.

I love garlic though. people kept asking me if I like garlic because of my dislike of onions. Then tell me that they are surprised when I tell them I do. They treated garlic as if it taste like onion. I never could understand that.
