It is, I admit, when I was young I never thought I would live this long.

I never thought my boys would live past 10 years old...now they both are fathers of children who are now 9, 12, and 16. I can't believe that I am as old as I am now. I remember my parents when they were the same age as I am now. Is it true that "time flies when you are having fun?"

I remember setting on my grandmothers lap with her saying, time flies by very fast. I replied, "No it doesn't." Little did I know the depth of grandmother's wisdom, but I'm still learning as I grow older.

Funny how time seems to go slower when we are young and then speed up the older we get.

Kind of like a roller coaster on the down hill run racing towards the bottom with no brakes.

Poor lost person, when they hit the bottom the best will them be behind them with only doom & gloom forever.

John, How close were you to the tornado that hit your state?

Probably not too close. I've not heard any weather or news recently but I've not noticed any tornados.

Sounded bad, one woman sucked out of her home though a window, & at least 2 killed, much property damage, according to the news on TV.

A few places have had freak January tornados this year. The above normal temps can be nice, but sometimes they set the stage for storms.

We are now wet, very wet, had much rain, much lighting, much thunder. And it looks as if it could start again at any moment. But yesterday was a beautiful winter day.
